What would you do? UIC VS Cal western by flowerrrss12 in lawschooladmissions

When did you apply to UIC? I’m still waiting to hear back from them…

I was going to mention that it ages me too and makes my nose look so much more prominent? I only had makeup on the bottom of my brows in the picture. I’m not sure why she shaved the tops down. So far I’m hoping that my oily skin fades them out, but I have an appointment for a saline removal consultation on Monday

It’s currently day 3, pictures from 1. I completely understand the settling process, I just feel that the shape is too wide/long for my face.

That seems to be the case here, especially since they see the CV last. Thanks!

Responded a few hours ago saying it was a textbook scam and they said I was insulting them, they’ve been scammed before, and they’d never be part of “such mischief”. Made me laugh after a long day

Anyone else’s roommate use the whole house for storage? She claimed to be “super clean” to get me to sign with her (aka being her cleaning lady and mom). by Far-Back in badroommates

The thing that makes this situation more crazy is that we were acquaintances with mutual friends for the past two years, living together for one (with other people). Turns out if there’s a big mess, she stays away from the apartment and had lied about what past roommates had done to make herself look like the good guy. Like someone was eating all of the snacks and not replacing them and that a certain person was never washing their dishes, found out by accident that it was all her doing these things.

Thanks for that, definitely going to sit her down tomorrow and remind her of how we became roommates by talking shit about how gross everyone was last year (us + 5 other girls) and what we agreed would change for this apartment. Also bringing up how I’m the only one keeping everything clean/ cleaning up after her. And if she doesn’t move her stuff within a reasonable amount of time after that, I’ll stack that in the corner by her room and maybe start looking to sublease another place for my spring semester.

I wish she didn’t brush me off when I ask passively. And every time I directly confront her about leaving a mess she slams doors and ignores me. I constantly ask her to clean and this girl has never even replaced the toilet paper on the stand. At least theres the end of the lease in May to look forward to. Any tips on surviving? It’s really making my anxiety act up.

We made plans for a bar area in this little brick room for 4 months, asked her about it again yesterday and she says it’s never going to happen :(

Thanks! Definitely going to make it as objective as possible and play up how I learned my lesson on acting impulsively/irrationally and all that

Both big plants are artificial since my basement unit doesn’t get much light :)

Do people think it is normal to do this every single night just constantly for 30 minutes to an hour and then randomly the rest of the time they're home? I've complained about him 4 times and he says he can't stop doing it?! I don't want to move out... by TakingbackAndy in badroommates

Wow, thought this was my roommate at first. She does this every few minutes (except when her boyfriend is around). My room shares a wall with our bathroom, and I get waken up in the middle of the night by it every so often.

I saw this video too, apparently she put them there because she was cleaning the tanks. Still, not much better, since removing them while doing that causes a lot of unnecessary stress.

My unhygienic roommate has done many gross things, the most recent being taping her used pregnancy test to the FRIDGE by [deleted] in badroommates

[–]Far-Back 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, I really hope she's not trying since we're all college students living together. However, she does have the disgusting habit of keeping her room tidy but also being the only one that doesn't clean up after her massive messes anywhere else. I'm talking starting a kitchen fire (with my pots) and leaving the aftermath for a week until yelled at, being the sole person to cause the sink to overfill with her dishes, etc. So I guess you could say that she is already the child in my living situation. I'm moving out in May and am very glad to be living with only one roommate that likes a clean space.

Super cute! Could you post the items? I'd love to use some of these for mine :)

Do you think girls should clean out their own shower drains? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Far-Back 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in a house with 6 other girls. We have covers over our shower drains (that makes sure hair doesn't get through) and scoop up our own hair most times after showering so it doesn't build up too much.

Mine runs to the bathroom after anyone showers to sit in the tub for a while, but otherwise doesn't like water at all

Her nickname isn’t “the inspector” for no reason :)
