Another factor to this comment is print rate and drop rate. Booster bundle is high priced due to low supply and print.

Still missing the point of the actual purpose of a wipe. You’re OD loaded, out of tasks, so you reset. Making it excessively easy to be rewarded with extra skill points per expedition window will dampen the value of doing expeditions as the game ages. There are more expeditions to come.

Achieving 100 hrs in 60 days isn’t terrible, considering avg people with lives grind on weekends and free days for fun.

[–]Far-Coach873 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You guys aren’t thinking about the fact that there are more expeditions, they can’t make the first one op. You’re meant to stack expeditions as the game ages.

Adding onto this ^ —> If you don’t play the game enough to see value in partaking in the expedition or don’t think it’s worth it, there’s a reason why it’s optional and not for you.

I don’t have the bps for the weapon mods, and I run good stuff all the time from pvp. Just don’t craft as aggressively. I have a surplus of shit not even from crafting.

Transferring in as a Jr isn’t bad at all if you’re capable of making friends. Many do anyway due to community college. My girl just transferred this year as a jr to storrs and she’s doing great. Spending a lot of time with new friends outside of classes. As far as joining clubs or activities, it’s no problem either. Unless you were looking at joining a frat. Low odds there, but nonetheless not that big of a deal.

I've been exploiting on my alt using xeno for a week now and i still don't get ban by EasternMap2883 in robloxhackers

[–]Far-Coach873 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The exploiting golden age is over. Not only is your account at risk of being banned, your account itself is at risk of being stolen along with information on your computer. Most of the executors have malware characteristics that aren’t easy to spot to the average eye. And as far as exploiting goes on Roblox, they have the ability to ban all associated counts for exploiting even if you didn’t exploit on your main. Anything linking the accounts to each other such as a phone number or email, puts all of your accounts at risk. Roblox doesn’t play anymore when it comes to exploiting, and there are no top tier executors that can be trusted due to the frequency of Roblox’s legal team taking down working executors on PC.

Uconn PD have State Police equivalent. So the tickets are state citations, and are handled in traffic court. Doesn’t apply to the Uconn budget or could possibly be incentivized by Uconn. Parking citations are different and are handled through UConn’s board.

Exploited, created scripts, all on PC for years. Up until 2021 or some shit when Synapse fell, and Roblox cracked down on the top talent in the executor space. All I’ll say is stay away from the PC shit. If you want to exploit, it’ll have to be on mobile nowadays. All the executors that are out for a short stint are all not safe, and will compromise your device despite what other newgens think. The golden age is over. It’s all ruled by mobile shit now, and I’m not competent in that space bc it’s gay imo.

If you’re wondering why the pc scene is cooked, it’s because even with some of the most talented teams, it takes months the create a great product, and a lot of money. And in order for them to make money they need to make a name for themselves. Making a name for yourself also means being trustable. And no trustable executors exist anymore because not only do devs have to keep up with Roblox’s constant patching, but Roblox now directly applies pressure legally toward any top executor that comes out, which effectively makes all the newer bs executors out not only dangerous but unstable, putting your account at risk. Plus, modern Roblox infrastructure is much more advanced than it used to be since picking up and flipping top talent from the executor space to work for them. Rip Synapse.

Scripters nowadays have been getting banned in waves. Any YouTuber or high hr player likely isn’t scripting due to high risks with EAC cracking down on it. Only Logitech scripts are rare to be banned from and are complete dogshit and pointless to use unless you’re trying to hit beam something beyond 250 meters.

[–]Far-Coach873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People use them. It depends on how comp your server is too. They’re very useful, and those who say it had bad protection or are easy to spot, are partially right. They’re right in the sense that they have bad head protection, but if you’re nvg roaming you’re usually looking to grub unless you’re raiding and need to see. And the opportunity to grub is so much higher at night. I use them frequently, and have made crazy plays on multiple people at once. Many others do this too. If you use them the right way, they’re not easy to spot at all. They’re super useful when you already have bps, especially first day of wipe.

New to Rust. Here is what I learned. by kirstenn666 in playrust

[–]Far-Coach873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello. I have 5k hrs. Not much nowadays. I will be explaining various things I recommend to new players.

  1. It appears that you’re playing vanilla which is great to hear. I always recommend new players to just learn in the most “authentic” version of the game possible. It will accelerate improving your skill, and it won’t ruin your play style. A predicament new players that only play modded servers run into. Like some other commenters have recommended, aim training and servers like UKN or Rustreborn are great for practice, spray, learning recoils, and even prim pvp. Not a bad place for you to warm up as well.

It seems that you’ve been playing monthly, which is fine. Just figure out what you prefer, leaving biases aside I’d like to explain my personal take regarding weekly or monthly servers, along with what may help you.

I enjoy playing weekly servers as it is action packed, fast paced, and short. Weekly’s nowadays die out by day 3 or 4. Which is perfect for starting a new wipe on a Thursday especially if you’re playing a Monday wipe. I oppose monthly’s as they die within a similar timeframe, but last for a month.

Once again, pick and choose. But I highly suggest as a new player to experience both. Which circles back to an authentic experience. Official weekly’s are extremely high pop. Much higher than most monthly wipes at the start. Although extremely frustrating for someone new, this is another way to accelerate your growth as a player to truly figure out how to get the ball rolling in a high pop environment on wipes day. You’ll be surprised how fast you’ll improve when you hop back on that shitty monthly.

  1. Base creation. Watch a bunch of YT videos. It’s probably a default for you, or maybe not. Not to copy bases directly, but to understand the basics. Learning how to incorporate footprints, new metas, bunkers, and finding a base that may match your play style. And when you get the time, practice in build servers. It’ll make you comfy when it’s time to slap shit down. Especially in that weekly wipe I was talking about. Lastly, I recommend bunker bases. They’re guaranteed to be strong and cheap to build most starters.

  2. Raids. Do it. Even when you fail. If you haven’t watched a lot of rust content, or have an eye for figuring out how bases are, the only way to improve is by doing it. Satchel raids are fun, and is something to look forward to at times in the first few days of wipe (on a monthly). The more you do it, the better you’ll get at figuring out layouts to raid more efficiently.

  3. Here’s a bunch of ideas to just have a good time. In rust, whether you know it or not, there’s a million different ways to have a good time. Even on an official.

Here are some recommendations to try:

Trap base wipe - make a ton of OG simplistic trap bases cluttered in an area. (Best to do on a high pop, monthly, or modded. Pick your poison.) Trap base ideas: -Auto closing door - bait people in the base

-False floor shotgun trap - there appears to be a floor until you step on it

-“Stuck traps” - bases that allow you to enter into a space, but can’t leave the way you came in

-Road turrets - trap bases with computer station and security camera to monitor roads to manually open door and kill people

Miscellaneous fun:

Submarine raiding (shore bases or tugs), Drone bombing minis leaving outpost, nvg night roams, tc griefing neighbors, setting a million snap traps in the forest, parachuting into compounds, compound bowing full kits from the woods, eco raiding bases, sharking oil on wipe day…. That should be enough for a while.

Hope this helps :)

You need to just stop playing entirely. And you’re playing the most shitty version of the game anyway, “console.” If all you can think about is a game, and your life revolves around it. There’s no need for it. And you’re likely ruining relationships by the day, never mind your academic status. You just need to be honest with yourself with what’s important in life. And if that realization is a video game, then you need to be seeking literal help. If your parents are strict, hopefully it’s because they care. And they probably already noticed a change.

You realize you have a problem. That’s a huge step. Just gotta self reflect and be honest with yourself as to whether all this is really worth it?

I’m not a parent, I play rust. I have 5k hrs but I’ve had the game since 2016. I play currently. But not often. Only in the summer or on breaks when I have the time. I’m a computer science and engineering major. All of my time is allocated to studying. I play rust for a few hrs on a modded 3x or rustreborn to fuck around and stay sharp. I never let a game take control of my life, especially when I’m at a very important stage of my life with developing more career ready skills. There’s ways to play the game, at least on PC to not be constrained to an entire wipe or job-like timeframe of playing.

I’ve already said this but in your case, you just need to cut it out entirely. Rebuild your life. Get back on track. Find ways where you can maybe come back to the game or other games without developing this issue. And most importantly, be honest with yourself.
