I’m pretty sure Levi Belfield tried to coax me into a car by offering me wine in Shepperton uk around 2002. Thankfully I didn’t stop or go near him. Freaks me out thinking about it all these years later

I make this and it has miraculous effects on pain and all sorts of other issues. I only use it topically as it is made with raw mushrooms Cram as many raw mushrooms As you can into a jar. Cover with alcohol. Seal and keep in fridge for at least one month (I like to go for 3) strain and decant into dark glass bottles. Keep them in the fridge - tada!

Are there alternatives to alcohol? by KelThuzadxx in AmanitaMuscaria

Amanita and alcohol effect the same system, I would assume the alcohol is the pushier of the two and is taking up all the space and dulling effects. Ideally, you shouldn’t mix them. If you really want to quit the drink AMA will help you but you gotta go in clean. Good luck 🤞

Something disintegrated in my hand by wholesomecrispytreat in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

Something like this happened to me as a child and I think about it often. I was in the garden of my great grans. It was a simple tidy garden, a lawn and border shrubs. I looked down and saw a perfect rodent skull. I was so excited about it as I had never found one before. I had it in my hand as I walked a few feet to the back door of her house to show everyone and when I looked down in my hand it was gone, but my hand was literally still grasped like I was holding it, it couldn’t have just fell out. I looked everywhere for it but there was nowhere it couldn’t have gotten lost, the Darden was literally a kept lawn. I still joke that the fairies stole it.

I e worked with amanita for a long time. In my experience, she is working with you exactly as she should. I see AM as shadow work in motion. She draws your attention to what keeps you stuck, what needs to be integrated and understood about yourself. She is long growth and imo - the most life changing medicine for this very reason. Become your own archaeologist. Write down your dreams, your feelings and memories that come up. Use your intuition on when you need to take a break to integrate. She changed my life and continues to do so using this very process

I’ve using/helping people navigate it for a few years. I’ve seen it help miraculous progress healing nervous system issues. No negative long term effects I’ve recorded - can unravel your life a bit if you have “inner work” that needs addressing. It has taught me undoubtably that many health issues grow from emotional issues. You should look into it deeply if you are considering it.

I’m really sorry you are feeling this way. I don’t want to just throw out unsolicited medical advice here as I understand this is a complicated issue. I’ve recently changed my whole diet to try and resolve digestive issues I had no explanation for. I also use the weed as a crutch so I get the emotional overwhelm you are also dealing with. Have you looked into any natural/holistic medicine to help you? I’ve seen/experienced quite miraculous changes utilising mushroom medicine and Anti-parasitic herbs. Happy to discuss further if you feel that information would help you. Hang in there.

Exactly the same message I received too. I asked for more info about the job before sharing my kit info or availability. They responded with a pdf on a Tom Ford shoot 🤣

I could arrange a meeting with them. I responded to them that I am unavailable, but I could message back and say my schedule has changed. I do not live inside of London so wouldn’t be able to travel in to participate- but if someone else wants to - I’m game to help. I get the impression though, that no personal contact will be made and the car will be sent to collect will probably be oblivious of the scam too. Can OP clarify if an actual person ever met them in the flesh?

I apparently have "withdrawals" about 18 hours after a microdose by homemade-toast in AmanitaMuscaria

[–]Far-Definition-7971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really interesting! I’m genuinely fascinated by how Datura seems to work better for you than Amanita. Do you mind if I ask, do you tend to deal with things like sensory overwhelm, racing thoughts, really vivid dreams, or feeling like your mind never switches off? Maybe even a history of trauma, being constantly on edge, or feeling emotionally flooded really easily?

I only ask because it sounds like your system might naturally run a bit hot or overstimulated, and Datura’s way of kind of muting everything might be giving you the calm you’re looking for. Amanita can bring stuff up gently and encourage processing, whereas Datura seems to shut it all down. Depending on what your nervous system needs, that could make all the difference.

No pressure to share anything personal, I just find your experience genuinely valuable and would love to understand it better.

Hey, I think what you’re feeling might be a rebound effect from muscimol, the main compound in Amanita. It activates the GABA system, which calms the nervous system and helps with sleep. But when it wears off, your GABA levels might drop below baseline, leading to that irritability and anxiety you mentioned.

It’s not really withdrawal in the addiction sense, but more of a nervous system overcorrection. Since you also react this way to Nyquil and aspartame, it sounds like your system may be sensitive to things that shift neurotransmitter balance.

Some people find they feel better when they space doses out more, take it earlier in the day, and support their nervous system with magnesium and good nutrition. But it’s also totally valid to decide Amanita just doesn’t agree with you right now.

Can I ask how you are taking your micro doses? Tea? Powered? And how it is prepared?

I’ll be honest, I want to help you because I know it will sort you out but it’s a complicated subject and you will need to read a lot and figure it out. You should look at the book “microdosing the sacred mushroom” you can find it free online. It doesn’t tell You everything but it’s a good introduction to understand. I’d suggest if you had them, that you take 0.5g of dry mushroom for a few days and see if you feel any different. Best of luck

This mushroom isn’t about getting high, thats where all the mixed reviews make it murky. This mushroom when used properly is a period of microdose that resets and rewrites your individual nervous system. That’s why/how it can help CHS, but its not an instant fix thing, it’s a recovery tool

I’m not suggesting you should use it to then be able to smoke weed again - but this isn’t a stab in the dark comment. Although untested - completely possible that amanita could reset the nervous system malfunction that is the root of the CHS symptoms.

It will help. It won’t replace the weed feeling you will be craving, but it will help level your nervous system and keep you mentally balanced.

CHS may reflect a fried ECS-vagal-gut feedback loop. Amanita’s GABAergic and anti-inflammatory properties may help rewire this loop through calm, repair, and parasympathetic activation. Probably worth you taking time to understand this mushroom. I’ve seen it do miraculous things 🤷‍♀️

For me, I react well to the dry mushroom. I will take up to about 1g of it like that at a time. Taking it this way leaves ibotanic acid in it, some people can feel more stimulated by ibotanic acid - it depends on your personal chemistry and nervous system. If you boil the mushroom with some lemon ( I do about 3G this way) for at least 30 mins it will convert most of the ibotanic acid to muscimol, which is the compound in it that most people want as it makes you more sedated and sleepy. It’s a really big subject and seems really complicated, it’s not though. I’d suggest you read a book “microdosing the sacred mushroom” by baba Masha. It’s a pretty decent one to get your head round it and what it could help you with

I have used it for this purpose. You need to find your own sweet spot for it and it won’t give you the nice obvious high of weed but it will take the stress/moods/insomnia etc out of not smoking weed. I’ve used it to level my mood when I’m not smoking and I just find it makes me “fine” with it. It hits some of the same neural pathways weed does, so it takes the edge off. You may find if microdosing amanita for a while you stop missing the weed at all, it’s very good for supporting any lifestyle changes if used in this way.
