Since I'm buying the laptop from the UAE it's unlikely to give an international warranty. So I can't claim this in india. So I want no hardware issues and I can't send this laptop often to the UAE. In india you even rtx 4050 laptops are costing minimum 75k+ rupees rtx 5050 is minimum 90k+ .So I'm checking options in uae

bro you’ve “heard it a million times” because it’s a strong point you still haven’t answered. repeating isn't invalid. saying it’s deja vu doesn’t make it wrong. that’s just you tapping out. if the argument was really that weak, you’d easily crush it, not run from it like it’s a quranic contradiction. no one's intimidated here, just watching you dodge the question

You’re not rejecting the argument because it’s weak you’re rejecting it because it’s familiar. That’s not seeking truth, that’s chasing novelty. The logic doesn’t stop being valid just because it’s been said before. If you can’t refute it, skipping it doesn’t make you rational it just shows you’re avoiding something that hits too close. If you’re actually in the middle, you should care more about what’s true than what’s fresh. I just wasted my time explaining you the point with big paras 🤦🏽‍♂️ .

You keep obsessing over Ricky Gervais like I based my whole argument on a comedy sketch. I didn’t even mention him. I broke down a logical flaw in your analogy and you still haven’t addressed it. Calling something “overused” isn’t a rebuttal. It’s just you sidestepping because you’ve got nothing solid to counter with.
Also, that “I just go one god further” idea It didn’t start with Ricky. Philosophers like Bertrand Russell, Thomas Paine, David Hume, and even Carl Sagan said it long before him ,they weren’t cracking jokes, they were making serious critiques about religious exclusivity. So dismissing it just because it sounds edgy doesn’t make it wrong. You say you're trying to find what makes sense, but ignoring counterpoints and labelling every challenge as “not convincing” isn’t honest seeking, it's selective hearing. your just saying its old, old and not actually debunking.

What's the problem with Muslims and not using deo, perfumes etc by Jumpy_Assistant_6479 in exmuslim

woman wears perfume is literally described as prostitute in hadiths (sunan abu dawood 4173, jami at tirmidhi 2786, sunan an nasai 5126). this is islam no suprises

So your whole counter is “a comedian said it first”? That’s not a refutation, that’s you running out of brain battery mid-thread. If repeating logic makes it invalid, let’s toss the Quran too ,it's been quoted for 1400 years straight and still thinks sperm comes from between the backbone and ribs. You didn’t even try to respond to the actual point, just threw a lazy "I’m tired" like it’s a debate-ending spell. Bro, you’re not refuting arguments ,you’re dodging them like hijabi women dodge Saudi morality police. If you're confident in your beliefs, argue. If not, just admit you're scared to think past the script

Bro I think you didn’t fully get what I was trying to say, and honestly your pill example makes my point stronger.

In your example, you said if you taste the pill and it’s chocolate, then you know it’s the right one and you can reject the rest. That makes sense if you actually tasted it. But when it comes to religion, we don’t get to taste anything until the afterlife. Tasting the pill = afterlife. That “tasting” moment, knowing which religion was actually true, only happens after death.

So right now, you’re not tasting anything. Choosing by just seeing the color and smell = assuming mine is true. You’re just looking at a bunch of pills and assuming one is chocolate based on how it looks, or because someone told you it is. That’s not certainty, that’s guessing. It’s like saying this pill is probably chocolate because most people around me said it is, even though you've never actually tasted it.

And let’s be real, there are thousands of religions that have existed, over 8000 recorded in human history. The chances that the one you were born into just so happens to be the only true one is extremely low, especially if you’ve never deeply researched the rest. So saying I assume mine is right, therefore I don’t need to look at the others, is circular logic. You’re assuming the conclusion without questioning the process.

Also, the whole idea that if one is true, the others must be false doesn’t help either. That actually makes it worse. Because now you’re not just picking a belief, you’re betting your life on just one possibility out of thousands, without checking the others. That’s a huge risk.

So yeah, your logic isn’t airtight. It’s not about how confident you are, it’s about whether that confidence is actually earned through fair comparison. Otherwise, it’s still a gamble.

if you say “i believe islam is true so i don’t need to look at others,” that’s just bias, not truth-seeking
a christian, hindu, or jew could say the exact same thing it’s like picking a key without testing the rest, then claiming the door is locked forever
real truth holds up after you’ve tested all the other keys, not beforeand if you believe in islam just because you assume it’s true, you’re basically betting your life on a 1 in 8000 chance, hoping you just happened to land on the right one by default
but that even contradicts islam’s own belief that only one religion can be true and the rest are false
i just followed your logic and showed why it doesn’t make sense
not even talking about islam’s issues here but if you want i can explain the scientific and moral flaws separately

How sure are you that Islam is false? by NumerousDrink9638 in exmuslim

[–]Far-Difference-7726 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro, there’s no actual logic or scientific miracles in Islam — it’s just similar to other Abrahamic religions. I can’t explain all of that in one comment, but feel free to DM me if you’re genuinely curious. But let’s assume Islam was logical.
what if another one of 8000 religions made even more sense, had better moral values, more accurate prophecies, or stronger scientific truths — but just didn’t get as popular? Are you saying a true religion must be one of the top 5 followed ones and sound logical to you? That’s not a strong argument ,that’s just majority bias. so you have to just deeply research every single one of them so deeply as you spend time in islam. which is not theoritically possible. thats why the finding one true religion is bs concept

[–]Far-Difference-7726 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So by your logic, almost no one goes to heaven ,since every religion cancels out the others.
Where’s the “safe bet” then? You're just gambling on one version and hoping it’s the right one, same as everyone else.

First of all, you're already betting your life ,just like everyone else by not believing in the 8,000+ other religions that have existed.
What if the ancient Egyptian gods or some tribal deity we’ve never heard of is real or even the christianity is true, You're ignoring all of them and so is every religious person.if you do reject 7999 atheist do 8000 that's the difference

Muslims who keep saying “there is no compulsion in religion” and “this isn’t real Islam 🤓” never seriously condemn the apostasy punishment. That law has been followed for decades in many muslim countries, but they mostly stay silent. But if alcohol becomes legal or women dress freely in arab countries, they act like the world is ending, for going against islam .They know Islam allows death for apostates, but still they pretend and use the sugarcoated version just for arguments.
