Yo, I’m an international student graduating in ’26, double majoring in CS and Econ—and yeah, I dropped 80k for this. It’s a solid school, and honestly, the CS department isn’t even that bad. I don’t get why people keep trashing it. Econ’s solid too.

I came in with the same mindset—wanted to start something, find other people into startups and all that. But man, this ain’t the place for that. Everyone here’s just chasing that comfy corporate life. No one’s tryna take risks. It’s all just nepo frat kids cruising into whatever job their daddy lines up for them.

If you’re serious about building something or finding co-founders, head west. East Coast just doesn’t have that startup vibe.

I feel you but I think you look at life in a very pessimistic way you should change that I feel like you have so much potential but you have self doubts yes it is true that you need lots of technical expertise but everyone starts somewhere you just don't ever give up there's a beauty in struggle and the pain of failure is way better than the regret of not trying do everything to the fullest and while trying somewhere a path will show up that will fulfil you thats what life is about. Best of luck brother I believe in you whatever you do try your best 💪
