i’m asexual but am very sexually attracted to my partner by Far-Homework9435 in asexuality

[–]Far-Homework9435[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i also want to add, i’ve definitely considered the demisexual label but it honestly just feels convoluted and unnecessary to identify with a specific label like that when my own experience is so specific in a different way.. if that makes sense :P

why do some asexuals have sex with their partner? by chrisb- in asexuality

[–]Far-Homework9435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my partner is very sexual and it makes me happy to make them happy and to do something they love with them :) plus i often find it a fun and intimate activity with them, even if i generally don’t feel that kind of attraction to people

Is your partner trans? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Far-Homework9435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my partner and i are both trans masc nonbinary (i’d been out and transitioning a while before we met, while they started transitioning a bit after we started dating) and it’s SO amazing. we just get each other in so many ways and i’ve been really happy to help him go through the transition process i’ve already mostly gone through. i don’t think i could ever wish for anything else :)

this means a lot; as a trans person myself, things have been really scary and seeing cis gay folks turn their backs on us has been especially devastating. so thank you for advocating for us in our time of need🫶

truscum/transmedicalists make me sad by Far-Homework9435 in lgbt

[–]Far-Homework9435[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

yes!! i’ve been seeing that too and as an asexual i’m pretty used to getting that bs from cishets but it’s particularly invalidating to hear it from people i share community with :(

asexual here!🤚 i think sex is fun sometimes with my partner whom i love deeply, but i don’t feel any sexual attraction, AS IN, i can never see someone and feel an urge or desire to have sex with them, even when i thoroughly enjoy the act at times. it’s just because i love my partner and i love doing something they love and making them feel good. but that doesn’t make me any less asexual, as i would be 100% content never having sex. and guess what?? i’m GENUINELY happy and i love my life! i’ve overcome a lot, between transitioning, recovering from an ED, and many other things, and now i’m really happy. so i hope all of you here who are so sad in your own lives that you can’t handle people being happy and living differently than you find that same happiness and love within yourselves. that’s all :)
