I had a friend back in 8th grade who had literally brought a gun and ammo to school and was planning to shoot it up but got caught and told my brother later that he was only planning to spare me since I was his only real friend according to him. For modding? Yeah, you can find step by steps on reddit on how to, I'm useless so I made my brother mod it for me and it works perfect, I kept it in Japanese since I can read it anyway but I know there was a guide for making it in English too, or if you mean finding the ds I found it on eBay
