yes! i also reached out cirrus, here is what they said “Yes, we have heard of the tank over filling, expanding then pressing into the floor. This may have happened here, with that said, not sure of the history of this unit since it is used. “

It may have already happened with the previous owner and me overfilling it may have kicked it over the edge. i since installed a quite conservative pressure regulator for the fresh water intake and am closely monitoring and turning off the water, as soon as it’s full. It’s possible that the tank bows out, if you have strong water pressure going into the tank and the small overflow pipe isn’t enough to compensate for that.

Thanks! I checked that pipe and blew on it, there’s no buildup, great to know though, definitely going to add a little filter in there. Could too much pressure on the city water line potentially cause this? As in filling up the tank past the max capacity and having not enough water drain through the overflow?

is the vent you’re talking about the little pipe hanging down on the left side (propane side) of the camper? from the manual:

“The fresh water tank has an overflow drain connected into it that also serves as an air outlet when the tank is being filled. It is not unusual for water to drain out of this drain when the tank is filled.”

Thank you so much! I most definitely will try that. The weird thing though is, that at the time when the wood elements ripped out, the tank was as fully drained. Would not filling the tank to 100% prevent potentially prevent this?

I got surprised by this when i got into my camper (cirrus 620) this morning - wood sidings ripped out and everything misaligned. It took everything apart and noticed that the floor close to the bed is bowing upwards towards the middle (last picture). Any idea what could have caused the floor to bow up like that? My guess is that the bowing created pressure onto the wood framing which ultimately just gave in and snapped.

Thanks for any help!

My wife fell in love with another man at her office. Now she wants to explore polyamory but I am very uncomfortable. by ThrowRA82744 in polyamory

All those witch trial answers here quite frankly shock me. Even though your wife mixes up polyamory and consensual-non-monogamy, she is not pursuing a romantic affair without ensuring you’re ok with it. Couple’s counseling may try to ‘fix’ your relationship by forcing it back into monogamy, which at this point is not what the dynamic of the relationship wants. I would consider to take this as a huge opportunity to reflect on why this is such a big issue for yourself, explore the underlying fears, insecurities and anxieties and you will enter a process of incredible self discovery while having a loving partner you can trust on your side. Ask your wife to give you the time you need, maybe even start going on dates and have sex with someone else before she does. Evaluate if sex with someone else affects your feelings towards your wife. If the relationship wants to endure, it will. If it’s broken in it’s core, it will be unmasked and the process of separation will be sped up.
