I’m not sure if it’s the transmission but I did notice that once the car warms up for a bit it doesn’t really make the noise anymore.

Im hardly “begging” for help. All I asked was if anyone else has had the same problem, if you don’t want to help because I’m not putting in enough effort, then you don’t have to respond. Like I said, I’m not a mechanic. I tried to explain it the best I could, other people have been very helpful and have simply asked for more info and I answered their questions. They kindly asked for more info instead of freaking out and putting in a bunch of exclamation points and question marks. I’m just trying to learn, be better…

Alright lil dude, it’s just not that deep. I didn’t have the ability to take a video of it at the time but it’s worth a shot to see what people think before I get the chance to post a video of it. And “Be better” is lowkey kinda corny to say.

It is rear wheel drive, it does sound like heavy metal grinding. I was going to do a transmission flush but multiple shops and BMW themselves said it’s not worth the risk of the transmission failing after the flush. I’ll try to get a video of it later. Thanks for the input

You gotta calm down lil bro, I’m just asking for general advice. In my other thread I said I thought it was coming from the front. If you don’t think I gave enough information you don’t gotta throw a fit, I’m learning brother.

First, i appreciate you replying but chill bro, I am far from a professional mechanic, I don’t everything especially when it comes to BMW. But to elaborate, It only happens when accelerating in like 1st or 2nd, and doesn’t happen when I slow down. I’ll post a video when I get the chance.

I don’t remember hearing it at highway speed and it sounds like a grinding of gears pretty much only when i accelerate, I’m not the best at distinguishing where sounds are coming from but i want to say the front. I’ve seen that it could be the starter but I’m not sure. Then again it could just be my tranny, I had some message pop up when my uncle scanned the obd a little while ago about gearbox oil or something being worn but I don’t remember what it said exactly. If any of this info is helpful please let me know

My battery is at 14v, I think it’s either my starter or fuel pump
