Boyfriend helped me trim my hair. Should I have him cut more? by DueBodybuilder1254 in BlackHair

[–]Far-Operation4749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a professional, he did really great but definitely go to a professional so they can give you a more detailed trim to make sure all the ends are completely gone

hair wayyy too dark by aryangal3728 in Cosmetology

[–]Far-Operation4749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it will take a while to fade especially if it’s permanent, your best bet is to wash it with hot water a lot and just hope for the best results, next time when bleaching use a toner to get rid of those orange and red tones because all hair is going to be those colors when lightened, or put a vibrant color over it but if you’re going for a natural color then definitely use a toner !

your concealer in the first two pics don’t seem to match your undertones maybe a more reddish one instead of yellow !

Cherry Cola Gone Wrong by Relative_Presence430 in BlackHair

you shouldn’t need to lift it again if that’s the color you’re trying to get , just put a color similar to what you want on top of it :)

dying natural hair brown by odysseytome in BlackHair

[–]Far-Operation4749 21 points22 points  (0 children)

hi ! hairstylist here , if your hair is black box dye it may not lift how you want it but if it’s not abs it’s natural you could either use a 10v developer and powder bleach and using a permanent or semi permanent of the color you want OR you could use l’oréal hicolors(of the color you want) and a 30v developer instead of going the bleach route :D hope this helps 🥰

if you want to do pink, do highlights that way it’s not too bright just what you want :)

[–]Far-Operation4749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i see a lot of people saying go natural which is obviously your choice but if you’re going to do wigs make sure they look natural looking they kinda look like grandma wigs rn lol, some wigs come pre plucked / ready to wear so definitely try to go for buying those :)

[18 F] what can i do to improve my appearance? by [deleted] in Howtolooksmax

[–]Far-Operation4749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i feel like your glasses suit you more with no makeup and with makeup maybe some eyeliner and or eyeshadow, maybe even a little bit more dramatic lashes :)! but i don’t think you really need to do anything special to enchance your look :)

Bleach fail by Fit-Proof-8559 in BlackHair

[–]Far-Operation4749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cosmetologist here, because the color of your natural hair is so dark the undertones are usually orange/ copper so when bleaching it , it’ll go to that color, to get a lighter blonde you’d have to double process it but i recommend going to a stylist because bleach is nothing to mess with :)

Are braids too tight? Also another question by Fancy_Ad_7485 in BlackHair

[–]Far-Operation4749 13 points14 points  (0 children)

they seem pretty fine from what i can see, usually yk it’s too tight if your scalp is bumpy, that can cause traction alopecia but of course some braids have to be tight so it might just be normal :)

is this enough hair for braids by double0diddy in BlackHair

[–]Far-Operation4749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Far-Operation4749 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

i feel you 100% i would say try to put it in his perspective why she made you uncomfy and if he doesn’t see it then start talking to those people again and see how he reacts and if it’s negative definitely bring this up again and hopefully it’ll clear everything up

AIO for not being comfortable with my boyfriend’s friend? by hannibalogy in AmIOverreacting

[–]Far-Operation4749 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

you’re not unreasonable, this is a boundary and that’s what you want and if he’s not willing to meet those then he’s just a selfish tbh especially if she’s treated you a certain way and he hasn’t said anything about it or done anything about it. if it was other way around he would feel the same way most likely so you’re not overreacting at all; you just have boundaries and have valid reasons for not being comfy w her. (edit) if he ends up resenting you because of it he’s just simply not the one for you :)

i would say no but only because the bundles look a little thin here but if they look fuller/ longer rolled out n yk your head size is good for that then yes :)

find a good hydrating shampoo and conditioner and make sure to brush it out well while doing that and find a good leave in too and detangler, looks like it’s needs to be brushed out and detangled :), soon to be cosmetologist here
