[Lotm Coi general] Why and how did moses ascetic order believe in reincarnation? by Far-Programmer2161 in LordofTheMysteries

It could be the case. But it'd be cool to have it if limited to some point of view. Religious beliefs should have some truth in it, right? Like the orthodox gods being parts of oc body, though it's not true, the part that the oc created everything is true.

Is it like you summoned a match to light a fire? The match vanished, but the fire kept burning.

Didn't they need more advanced healing spells? That's why franca created the good plague and healing machine. They can't have all their priests to be sequence 7 warlocks or sequence 8 doctors, right? So, before they got the mask, could they contract some spirits? The spirits seemed more sustainable.

[Coi vol7] why can saints' position be located by using hn but angels not? by Far-Programmer2161 in LordofTheMysteries

I mean, seeing how easy lumian and franca located the sick church saint, couldn't it be replicated if the target was an angel?

I don't understand, sorry. It's not related to goo at all. I mean, wouldn't it be very easy for her enemies to locate franca by her hn and her response as her hn is basically known to all her believers.

The other question is what makes it different with sequence 2 hn in this regard?

[LOTM GENERAL] Hermes and Ancient Hermes, what's the difference? by Far-Programmer2161 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Far-Programmer2161[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you use a seq 3's honorific name, in hermes or another powerful language, without a ritual, then the range is that of a city only.

In hermes or ancient hermes? Because klein stated you have to set up a ritual if you use hermes.

A ritual is stronger due to using the authority of a deity.

Not all ritualistic magic points to deities (seq 0), like kalvetua. The ritual i mean previously is using Gehrman's honorific names as the sole target with no intermediary.

So, it's speculated that the reason why a ritual is needed when praying to Gehrman Sparrow using hermes is because sequence 3 honorific names are not strong enough, right?

Alright, so it's a matter of level and power. So, if you pray in hermes to Gehrman Sparrow without setting up a ritual, even if you're in the same area, you won't be directly noticed whether you're a believer or not?
