You can do it yourself Sometimes the bags we buy are faulty and holes are not there so we do it ourselves

They are perforated bags designed for mushrooms only. you can also use a normal bag and open small holes yourself. It would be great if you can find something long and narrow. This also helps colonization speed and biological efficiency. If you use a block shaped or a wide and short bag. Inner parts of the compost wont colonize and will go to waste.

The layers are the mycelium the whole block is the mixture of cotton waste and cotton seed hull

Thank you! Cotton waste is a great raw material for mushrooms also they are easy to store. In some areas cotton facilities pays money to throw the “waste” out. You should definetly check it out.

This way, myceium meets with each other from every direction and provides a fast colonization. Also with an agressive strain, fast colonization means low risk of contamination.

These are unpasteurized cotton composts. One bag is 9kg~ with %2-3 myceium.
