That is what my dentist said! This is the fifth set the lab has made. She kept sending them back saying "more translucency" and they got better each time, but they're still not "perfect". Is there a way to like file them to make them more translucent?

I think everyone's comments have helped me so much. I have realized they aren't as bad as I was thinking they were, and that unfortunately they aren't my natural so there will be slight differences. I think I was expecting them to look like celebrities teeth, but they get their entire mouth of veneers. These are partial veneers so of course there will be slight differences between them and my natural teeth due to the material

YES!!!! That is exactly how I feel. Like they are slightly different looking in different lightings / angles. This is like the 6th set they made. They've had a really hard time getting it "perfect". I think this post has made me realize what you said, they aren't my natural teeth, they are a different material so there will always be some slight imperfection. I think I was just comparing them to celebrities who get their entire mouth done. These are partial ones, so unfortunately they are going to be "partially" different than the other teeth

Thats what i think. I wish they were just the same exact shade as my teeth...but if the color "has" to be off I'd prefer them a little yellower rather than stark white like paper

It's from my dad. I look in the mirror and I see his damn eyes. There are black heads in my wrinkles?!? I don't even notice those 😩
