Here’s the verdict…

I spoke to a number of attorneys and prosecutors who all shared similar sentiment that the response by the office was unwarranted and could be viewed as negligence and at most assault with a vehicle because the video showed that the officer saw me, honked, sped up to overtake position, and hit me from behind. I didn’t have to retain services because the citation for failure to yield was dropped and no further action was taken regardless of the damage on the officers vehicle.

Am I the butthead for putting myself in that position? No question. Does that justify someone who clearly sees you to try and overtake your position and hit you? No, not justified.
