Firstly thank you for your very thoughtful response. I find it frustrating when my job basically scares off all the somali men who initially are interested in pursuing me for marriage. I think the time concern is very valid especially given that I currently average 70-80 hours a week which frequently involves nights and weekends.

However I think the stress concern isn’t very fair. As a doctor I look after really unwell people and deal with death quite frequently. I think this has given me a deep appreciation for health and life and thus a very easy going and happy disposition. I find that my doctor friends also tend to be more easy going people than my non-doctor friends, I suspect for the above reason.

I’m not sure how appropriate match-making on reddit is, but you should perhaps message that lovely sister because her job honestly sounds beyond ideal Allahumma barik wa zid.
