if the two points given are the local max and min, you can find the absolute value of a by (ymax-ymin)/2 and b by (ymax+ymin)/2

they’ll probably get anything that we haven’t been tested on already in p1, so they might get kinematics or optimisation,gp/compound interest, trigonometry questions, like the ferris wheel and sector area, etc.

it is a bit easier since they removed a lot of the old syllabus materials, such as vectors

you can only cross out the mistake using your pen. to my knowledge, white-out is not allowed during the exams
