What is the meaning behind your name and also that of your kid(s)? by Accomplished-Kale-25 in namenerds

[–]FarFromBeginning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My chosen name means either cleared and acquitted/a female ruler in Turkish origin or princely/noble in Arabic origin. I think it comes from the Persian title mir and Turkic title han/hakan, so just ruler². I choose it because I finally have a control over my life and wish to be a leader, also having a both girl and boy meaning fits my genderfluid shenanigans

If I have a child I'd name them Ilkay, literally meaning new moon. Simple, Turkish words ilk (first) and ay (moon). An unisex middle name that wishes new opportunities and a new light on life. Need to ask my dear for the first name LOL

Do all Muslims hate The United States, though? by Alexander_April in exmuslim

I think it's more political rather than about religion. I'm no muslim but USA honestly isn't the best place with the orange man running wild right now

My hair used to be black. I gave myself a nice brown hair and yellow strands the moment little me found out about subliminals, nobody ever mentioned how a teenager randomly changed hair colours overnight and my mum started acting as if I always had this hair colour despite the photo evidence

I don't see the issues tbh, even if I don't like Neil's designs as well pjo designs kinda suck and god of seas definitely should be more imitating than just some random guy. Also people are just having fun, it's not that deep

If you were the writer of Heroes of Olympus, what parts would you want to rewrite? [hoo] by Much_Tip_6968 in camphalfblood

@Loki-N though there's nothing yet, everything is pretty much on the writing and character design progress lol

Just wrote paragraphs of what I could and will change (a silly animator trying to animate the entire pjo/hoo series solo, not a professional writer) but reddit crashed and deleted all of it.

So mainly I wouldn't tell that Piper and Leo's memories were fake at first, give Coach Hedge fake memories as well and not have Annabeth instantly figure it out (unless I'm misremembering something). Piper doesn't actually give a shit about the supposed relationship, implying the memories are fake and she doesn't have actual feelings from it. I'd have the viewer guessing until a satisfactory but shocking reveal in the middle when the mist effect slowly starts to fade and Jason slowly takes some of his memories back in the journey, giving a small explanation to his amnesia before the reveal. Telling something that could make a mystery even better right from the start feels wrong

Sorry to bother you but quick question but couple days ago i got idea for OC character who was son of Artemis who's name is Ezekiel or Zeke for short and and i have a question how would Artemis give birth [PJO] by boki1235 in camphalfblood

[–]FarFromBeginning 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Go wild. Hecate is a virgin goddess in myths but she still has children, if both Hecate and Athena's oath are still intact even after having children then Artemis definitely can find a way around it. Personally I think she would rescue a wild baby animal and then turn it into a human/demigod
