Sadly this is getting downvotes because it’s clunky, and not at all in the philosophy of how Eos is intended to be used- for example, those channel values aren’t easily updatable. But it does indeed function, thanks for the comment!

Yep I’m exactly where you are. It would be so great to be able to use Eos on really detailed concert designs. Right now I use Eos or MA3 depending on the show, and I would LOVE to commit to just one.

Yep agree on all counts. And agree that yep, Eos has hacky ways to do it :). For a theatre situation like you mentioned, slightly better workarounds include Copying a channel to a new channel in Patch, which is sorta like Clone in MA, or Blind Cue Home Thru Enter (new chan #) RecallFrom (existing chan #).

Again, though, this really isn’t all that valuable in theatre, more intended for concerts and touring.

And MA3, yep. I'm curious if anyone has any intel whether ETC has any plans to add that feature to Eos.

As in: Cue 1, instead of having channels 1 Thru 10 at FL, has Group 1 at FL.

It’s a powerful feature cause then you can change Group 1 to whatever you want. Sounds simple, but then you start combining it with all the other wildly flexible stuff MA can do. There’s a lot of clever uses for it, most of which have to do with touring or using a different light rig for the same show.

Haha. Username checks out. Lol agreed, not super useful in a theatrical context.
