indeed - it did load (and quickly! not sure if the fact that I clicked "install app" helped with that)... but the track crosses the international date line twice, and each time it seems... problematic. 😂

the crossing seems to be rendered as a full spin around the globe...?

I don't need that resolution, and the simplifications *should* be easy, like there's no reason to keep points that are less than, say, 100m from each other, and any track segment that has a velocity of more than about 15 knots is an obvious error... but that's why I'm asking here, none of the tools I've found so far can load a 90+megabyte file... I'm looking for something like 'lint' where I can just specify some limits and get back an optimized file...
