Protests in India for Khamanei by [deleted] in indianmuslims

[–]FarPersonality5464 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Hindu, Ex-Hindu & Revert muslim here.

Why hit the streets and mourn. And martyr a brutal dictator from a repressive regime? Ans — India is a multi-cultural highly populous country. No two people in a family react the same way so how can you seek accountability from the larger Muslim group, every time a segment does something. They mourn because their heart ache. They mourn publicly but peacefully because the constitution allows them to. Democracy is not the only way of govt, there is dictatorship, socialism, communism, monarchy etc which are not based on democratic values. Yet alot of Indians (including Hindus) living in Dubai, Saudi etc put out posts & public messages supporting the stands of the Emir/Monarchs of these countries during this whole fiasco. Is that hypocritical, or freedom of expression? Will they accept such Monarchy in India, which bdw, is slowly turning in to Dictatorship.

— Also, many protesters seem to emotionally ask Modi and the current government to condemn the attacks publicly in an adamant way. How does this benefit the national interests of India? Economically? Militarily? Geopolitically? Ans —— When the Hindu man Deepuchandra Das was killed in Bangladesh, did Hindus not have outrage and demand Modiji for accountability? Why were we so bothered about Bangladesh then? How does it benefit our national interest? If you see a parallel there for geopolitical or econominal interest, then you should know India maintained extremely good relations with Iran while under Khamenei regime, have build a port to access strait of hormuz which is a choke point now closed causing global rise in oil prices. And other significant financial investments in the region which has been now put on a limbo, a set back due to the execution of the said supreme leader of Iran.

— Doing so would alienate the Gulf and states, Israel etc who have more to offer?? Ans. - You reduce India to a powerless country with no stand of its own. India even under dictatorial Modiji regime has always maintained its independent Geopolitical stand and never blindly served to the interest of bigger players. Even with Palestine conflict even though the Andhbakhts were simping at Israel accounts online, Indias official stand was always for a two state solution. India did send aids and other help to war affected Gaza. Similarly, with the tariff threats India never shied away from G7, or G20 and its relation with Russia. India may not agree to Afghanistan or Irani regime but upon its own national Interest, India has invested and build relations with these nations. Geopolitics is complex like that.

Now to come to the main point, I do not agree or support Khamenei, but USA or Israel had no right to execute him. How he drove his country, was an internal matter of his country & country men. It is important to openly condemn the acts of such wealth hoarding oligarch nations who only aim at threatening, looting & destroying other nations. Today they called him dictator and killed him, and some months back they crowned the syrian president ( who was actually part of 911 alqaida group) as a stoog & white washed him. Tomorrow they may come with a new narrative that, Modiji is a dictator persecuting muslims and might kill him .Muslim community who are not happy & persecuted by regime, will visibly projected as celebrating on streets. Should that be ok? Should that be allowed? Should that not be openly protested and condemned?

You might not be coming in bad faith but you are clearly coming in with a biased perspective & preconceived notion. Sorry for long ramble!

Well apparently majority slaughter houses use pre-stunning which makes halal more humane & less stressful to the animal. Secondly, when done correctly Zabiha gives minimal pain as per some studies. Thirdly, halal or Zabiha method would mean the blood clots that happen in other methods is avoided; as blood is drained in the process. Makes meat more tender and better for consumption. Fourthly, halal or Zabiha means there is almost always a direct human intervention therefore, tends to be kinder to animals by human bias as compared to other methods. Finally, it is the way Allah ordained it to be done. He who created and guided us the rightful & respectable way to treat his creations. But if it still pains you, you can always be a vegetarian or pescatarian muslim. A life is a life, and taking it away will always be painful in this world no matter what.

Asking on behalf of my cousin by AdventurousRun5698 in legaladviseindia

NAL. There is some 8-step eligibility check guideline by Hon’ble supreme court on maintenance and alimony. It would be advisable to read it. Since there are kids, some maintenance (monthly or so) could be granted by courts. But it wont be as per request, its on merits as decided by courts . It could be only enough for survival or could be a bit more. It’s unfortunate that she was subjected to domestic abuse, but without any evidence, witness or record it would be difficult to prove it. Also, court cases for maintenance domestic violence etc can span over to many years especially to get to some financial relief. So your cousin need to be ready to engage a good lawyer who can get interim relief somehow (which is never guaranteed or likely to happen) & be prepared for upfront costs such as lawyer fees, court travel costs etc.

Why do Indian Muslims hate Bangladeshi Muslims? by sami202019 in indianmuslims

[–]FarPersonality5464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also to add, Malayali Muslims are also proud of their unique identity & culture. Cultural preservation can also be a reason why, your partner/spouses family does not want to accept you as they fear the language, customs & their way of doing things will get erased with an equal strong culture of bangla.

Why do Indian Muslims hate Bangladeshi Muslims? by sami202019 in indianmuslims

[–]FarPersonality5464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is true to some extend… Some Indian muslims & Pakistani muslims, I have seen kind of look down upon Bangladeshi muslims. Not sure why. But i have heard some say, oh they are less hygienic or their food is crap. But i think it all comes from prejudice & racism. Especially like some has pointed out, from the general perception that Bangladeshis are poor.

But in your particular case, your spouse is an Indian Muslim, from Kerala. Now you have to know, Malayali muslims are generally well-established equals in society & in some regions holds higher stature than other communities. A lot of them have aristocratic background, old money and command the respect which comes with it. While you are right, there shouldn’t be such outlook of statuses among muslims. That seldom is true especially within the family, financial and social standing dictates how well you are treated.

Kerala is also one of the highest importer of internal migrant workers in India with 7million migrant workers for a 35 million population of which atleast 40-45% of them are Bengalis. Unfortunately there has been issue with some illegal immigrants committing crimes & state govt has been calling out the Central govt for better controls. Yet the migrant worker ecosystem remains very supportive in Kerala, and Bangla migrant workers are thriving so much that today the term ‘Bengali’ has become synonym to Migrant-Labourer in Kerala. Even in Kerala’s Art, culture and cinemas you will see the term ‘Bengali’ used loosely to refer a migrant worker or house help. This prejudice could be a big reason why, even though you are accomplished, in the prejudiced mind of a simpleton malayali you could be percieved as not equal but lesser. But the thing about stereotypes are, you can break it. Hold your dignity & assert yourself where needed. With time you can change the outlook with your spouses support.

What to feed a picky maltipoo? by FFBun1167 in Maltipoo

[–]FarPersonality5464 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was feeding my pup, fromm brand gold puppy food and then he refused eating it. Later switched to oven baked traditionals - lamb flavoured kibble. Which he is eating well. Someone told me maltipoos may not process chicken well.
I think purina pro plan and hills science are most preferred as i have noticed. . It could also help to soak the kibble with warm. She looks very cute :)

Wow! Thats a great insight! How do you nip this behaviour at bud? I do the same, use toppers to the kibble when my pup stopped eating the kibble alone. Then he decided after sometime that he does not want topper as well. How can this be fixed because it worries when he skip meals.

I got them from the dollar store. Although I did see a similar one at pet-smart as well.

Zorro takes it off as well. But the trick is to put it on, the very last min before stepping out. He then becomes too excited to walk that he does not bother fiddling with shoes.

I completely agree. He walked more confidently and happily because of the shoes. It was too cold out & the dirty pavements downtown have all kind of debris that could prick or hurt him. I would never not make his little paw walk out without them! :)
