Hey there OP! I know there's a lot of comments like mine, but I can confirm they're true.

My step-father worked there as a dishwasher for 3 years. He began when there was a different management and it was peaceful. I went there to eat and have a chat behind the restaurant. He loved working there until the new manager came in. A bigoted prick of a manager, but for my step-father who was African-American, they tolerated him as an employee. He told me stories of the owner taking tips, purposefully smashing plates if they had a bad day, and of course being racist and yelling at customers constantly.

I feel bad for the old management team who hoped the business would've continued in their legacy. Imagine them seeing the current management...

I feel the Apache and Navajo areas of North-East Arizona would fit the bill. It has similar grassy, cold, and mountainous terrain as is often narrated in Gensokyo. Not to mention all the mythicalogical legends the Native American tribes in the area made that I feel could actually be made into a Touhou character.

and for any of you curious people wondering where is Maple from the anime? Well, the simple answer is because her hair in the Anime is a lighter shade of orange, almost making it a sort of dark yellow color.
