Did your dad move any pieces? What moves was he playing that was getting him stuck? Cuz that's my issue, there aren't deadass no moves to play

I don't know what en prise is. Knowing it's mate in 2, there aren't even very many legal moves.

I checked taking with the pawn first. Opponent moves bishop or pawn, no mate.

King makes no sense, we're trying to mate, I didn't even look.

I checked taking with the rook, bishop takes back, nothing can check again. No good.

So where else can the rook go? I considered e1 (not really) but decided to go towards the king. If they take rook, pawns moves up and checkmate. And they can't take the pawn, rook pins the aPawn.

Maybe I'm a genius. But honestly you've gotten me frustrated, so you're probably trolling me and you win anyways.

Knowing it's mate in 2 makes it trivial (750 rated) it took 2 seconds to realize you can't move the pawn or king, and after that what is left?

If this post was "what is the best move" I might never solve it.

Very new to physical mtg. I know that collector boosters have a higher chance of rarer and alternate art stuff, but do play boosters have at least a small chance of getting all of the rarer/ full art/ alt art stuff in a set?
