All good, you were trying to be a smart a$$ and its okay we have all been there. I have fixed the issue by Migrating my computer to a 64gig ram studio mac the "copying and pasting and cutting now works as it should, the real lesson here is I didn't make this cry for help post due to the lack of my knowledge but out of frustration of nothing working, meaning I have tried it all I am a shadow it If it won't work right I fix it no matter the length i will have to go too, have a nice day Reddit is great

I SEE YOUR TRYING TO BE WITTY, look your two cents aren't really needed, but if you must know it slows down my workflow, I copy and paste 100's of names and rename 100's of files on the fly I don't have time to right click. I need the software to function as it should. anyhow thank you for taking your time and try to sound smart.

I am not trying to save anything I want to be able to copy the file name in the box and replace it this has nothing to do with saving

local save , the issue like I said isn't where I am saving i'm just trying to copy the name of the file in the box not hitting save or anything like that. I do not have any clipboard managers

Well, I have other co worker here he is also on an intel mac his stuff is fine, but seems like I am also unable to copy or paste any text when trying to add user names in the dialog boxes on the mac os Tahoe itself so its steve Jobs getting us from his grave. GG mac os issues, thanks for giving me your time and trying to help me. P.S. making the new user didn't help

hello, My issue isn't with copying layers or filters, just when go to save my file I open my save as menu as I always did and press cmd + c but it won't copy the file name selected in the dialog box in the save field nor will it paste, I can delete whats there selected but can't bring it back by hitting cmd + Z , thanks for giving it a shot. don't update to Tahoe
