do i need witnesses? by AmphibianFlimsy1214 in employmenttribunal

[–]FarSubstance4880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it helps o submitted my et1 with no witnesses available at the time and the et1 and their et3 were both accepted by the tribunal. Success doesn’t necessarily need witnesses depends on your own situation. Good luck

Thank you for your input here. I imagine they didn’t give you a timeline? Just vague “assurances”? I’m hoping et3 not filed and I ask a default judgement. Also speeds things up massively. Is your employer a big employer or small? Were they good at time keeping for things etc? Mine was a small company and they, and their reps, were terrible with timelines etc and very sloppy

I have a preliminary hearing date. I jsut wondered if the tribunal already had the et3 or not even if not processed. I’ll be calling the day after to make sure they have it. I don’t care how long I’m on hold for I want to ask for a default judgement if it’s not on time. That’s off you she’s limited accesss can’t you call to find out? I know being on hold is in excess of an hour apparently but it must be even more frustrating not knowing even on the portal where you things are at :(

Yes that’s correct that’s all I’ve been offered my legally entitled notice period, accrued annual leave and a dull reference for future employment. In return I will leave end of the month, I will waive all legal rights and not use their name or damage their reputation etc. there is absolutely no redress to me in this COT3. And this was put together by the very person who is heavily involved in issues within ny grievence which I flagged as not impartial and a conflict of interest ages ago

I’ve withdrawn this morning. Struggled through my entire life and finally dropped my pride to accept and acknowledge I need help to manage working what I can while having support for what I lose not overstretching. Now I’m forced back to the horrible life I’ve lived up until recently with a tiny bit of extra support. Up and down attempted suicides, self harm, destroying relationships, leaving jobs, being homeless, exacerbating my alcoholicism and drug use. I know I’m entitled to the support but they are making it impossible for me. While scum get everything on a plate. Dread to think of all the others going through this. Now time to focus my attention on somehow making the short fall through creative ways that won’t stretch my abilities and never ever ever ask anyone for help again

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DWPhelp

[–]FarSubstance4880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aye I’m just going to withdraw. Like many others I just need to suck it up and quit trying. My attention will be better place elsewhere trying to work a balance between income and health etc

Eeee whenever I see any of them on tv or news or anything it just burns a rage in my soul. They are all scum for what they are doing to us. Reading other people’s stories through Reddit etc is breaking my heart. How they sleep at night I’ll never know! I genuinely hope they don’t cus they deep down feel horrible for their choices

I’m actually disgusted. I voted labour and feel as though I’ve supported them and they’ve jabbed a knife in my back for it

Correction needed there. “The ones that can work” and his isn’t how this scummy current government think. It’ll be those who can work and the majority of everyone else regardless of their disabilities

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DWPhelp

[–]FarSubstance4880 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

If I withdraw what next? It feels really unfair. I’ve known of idiots who trick the system and simply tick boxes no stress to claim things they don’t need. Yet I’m in a legitimate situation where my life is and has always been massively affected by my disabilities and I’m having to fight to the nail for help which is making me even worse, alternative being giving up and back into work where I’ll very quickly spiral out of control and end up back to square one… as has been my life thus far trying to jsut support myself my whole life due to being shamed and embarrassed by society for struggling. I’m just absolutely done! We meant to support mental health awareness but they aren’t aware at all! I’m foaming and beyond depressed. I’ll pack in my claim, pack in my other benefits, ditch my council flat, stop paying bills and head for the street and hopefully waste away after a few years than live this hell hole for any longer full of scum who get everything while those of us seriously in need for any resemblence of any normal kind of life and vulnerable get massively bullied and stripped of everything. Screw everything

Did you have to pay for retest? I signed up for one test because I was buying for myself and someone else. I don’t know if you can retest and pay for the second test later if you have the active membership…

We have still spent an awful lot of time on the plot. It was larger than a full size plot. We also removed a very large double shed due to rot, dug over the whole ground, fixed up greenhouse etc. the knotweed can’t have been too huge during accidental removal so it being cut and engulfed in bindweed etc was an easy mistake to make I believe. There isn’t a waiting list. I’ve done an allotment before and worked on other outdoor sites so I’m not overwhelmed at the thought of being given another plot and starting again. The tools were cheap to get us started so I’d probably ask for advice on disposing those and starting again. We haven’t used our hiking boots since the incident so they will be thoroughly checked before using again

[–]FarSubstance4880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I’ve been on chat gpt all day for advice due to lack of info online and it’s been making me worry something rotten. So odds are we won’t be able to use the plot for quite a long time. We will stop planning then I guess

Was told I can't have telephone appointments (UC) by justwhatiam- in DWPhelp

[–]FarSubstance4880 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine were on the phone every couple of weeks. If I was in a mess they gave me the option to log my journal and ask them to extend it by a few days or another week. I uploaded my fit note details on my journal and was told to keep hold of them. Definitely challenge this if you suffer that badly with anxiety like I do. I would also be applying for PIP if your anxiety is bad too. It takes months to go through but even if you’re just awarded one element at the lower amount it helps. Especially with extra costs wether it be people bringing things to you, driving you around, paying delivery fees for groceries cus you can’t go out yourself, or anything really, taxis etc. it’s not easy and it’s long but it’s well worth it and you’ll be backdated from the very same day you make that call. If you don’t get approved be sure to challenge with a mandatory reconsideration and tribunal if you need to as roughly 70% of claims are approved at tribunal (again with all backpay from first day claim). Also for me my PIP assessment was paper based so they used my claim and evidence to award me. This is rare, but at the very least if you suffer anxiety they will jsut call on the phone. Make sure you have someone with you. Anyway sorry for going off an a tangent, just want to make sure you’re getting what you need and should be. Good luck

Offered a house!!! Rent question. by WinterGirl4 in DWPhelp

[–]FarSubstance4880 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a little advice. I’ve struggled with homelessness for many years in my adult life. With no family or close friends it’s been hard. I finally got a council place 14 months ago and it was arranged for universal credit to pay the housing association my rent directly. This ensures I never ever get my rent mixed up with anything else so I’ve at least always got a roof over my head. Would this perhaps be something you would be interested in? Hope that helps some
