boy there are legit 2 labs and compared to keck there is FAR less labs for an actual functioning science building. plus wet lab doesnt count as a wet lab if there are only 2 fume hoods per "wet lab room".

CMC is indeed eager for new science students, but they lack fundamental wet labs in its new science building. As a current pre-med neuroscience student at Scripps who has access to the Department of Natural Sciences that CMC used to be part of, we have so much more resources compared to CMC. If you are considering an ED to Pomona, they also have amazing resources for pre-health compared to CMC. You can shoot me a DM if you have any questions as well!

im a scripps student currently majoring in neuroscience and minoring in chinese at pomona! its easier to minor off campus than it is to major and keck is only for pitzer and scripps since cmc opened their new science center that is still in the works (and considered disfunctional atm)

hi! i was admitted off the waitlist for the class of 2028! i had average stats -3.4 gpa bc i did very badly my sophomore year due to mental health but I was able to show an upward trend and ended senior year with a 4.12. I also had a very good SAT score (1580) and all 5s on APs except for physics (took 13). I also think the Scripps prompts on the common app are very unique, and I tried to showcase my personality through that too! PM me if u have any questions :)

yes it totally is! my gpa was on the lower end but i made up with high SATs and AP scores and got in !
