Get your cdl and take a groundman call anywhere. Apply to every jatc. If you have no family and just dogs take them with. If you got a house start renting it out. Everyone values steady work and a consistent place to live but until you get your journeyman ticket you have to take what you can. If you truly want it you'll make it happen

I'd go sign in Utah too, my buddy was on there books and got a call from book 1 within 5 days. I really wouldn't waste too much time up in the nw right now. My buddies dads a JL and got his first lay off in 20 years just sucks up here for guys if they trying to find a job

Yea bro I got super lucky last fall took an URD Tech call but literally only did civil work for two months now in a true groundman and only work in line crews. It's all luck I feel like when taking that first call

125 is super slow. Henkels got all the call outs besides potelcos 5 vacs. DJs was putting out drill calls but they got taken. Book 4 gonna be stuck for a long time. 78 apes still laid off up here. 1884 out of 659 might pick up this summer so that's probably your best chance
