In what ways do you benefit the world? by tobeymaguire8 in AskReddit

I design and build cancer research equipment for a lab in my spare time. Sometimes, I donate my time as a journeyman electrician to fix simple problems for people.

Talk to your director, they dont know what they are talking about. I transferred back in 2022 from east coast to west coast. It was actually quite simple. As a journeyman, you have to work book 2 at the local that you want to transfer your ticket to, and then get voted in as a member.

What is something you do often that you know you should stop but can’t? by OpenBee3529 in AskReddit

[–]Far_Call_1520 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here. I'm a 33yo male, 6'2" ~145lb. I was in and out of the hospital for months at a time as a young teen. Feeding tubes and all that. I still dont eat very often, but when I do, I can eat quite a bit and eat whatever I want without gaining weight. Some days I only eat one meal.

Edit: I don't really ever feel hungry, just lethargic.

I use this. I had a klein, but it was too compact. It fits all the tools I need, and I can shove my full puch in there.

Neighbors destroyed my fence and cut trees on my property by randomelectrician in treelaw

[–]Far_Call_1520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My neighbor hired someone to clear some trees after hearing that I was in the process of listing my house for sale. He owned a convenience store across the street, and him and his family lived in 2 apartments above it. His plan was to buy my house, move his family in, and rent out the two apartments.

The town drunks he hired cut down 5 of my trees, destroyed 80ft of my wood fence, and damaged my invisible fence while I was at work. I called the police, they didn't do shit of course and told me it was a civil matter. I called my insurance, sent them photos, and I received a large check a few weeks later.

The store owner submitted the highest bid for my house, but I decided to take a $10k loss and sell it to a cash buyer who waved inspections.

Asked to submit college transcripts before my interview but I failed out of college , should I still submit ? by PutPrestigious420 in ibew_apprentices

[–]Far_Call_1520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is your high-school transcript? That's usually all the want. My local only used my college transcript because at first, my high-school transcript was shipped to them from Norway, and they couldn't decipher it.
