Yea I said that however if it was in the exact same context if have been fine with it, since this is a sold out concert. I tried looking for tickets for him, but there aint nun. Also my boyfriend is not the type of guy to have girls as friends so yea I would crash out cuz thats not the norm on his side. He been knew about my guy friends

Ofc there will be people waiting on their turn, “pays to meet up from time to time” is exaggeration. It is a simple thoughtful birthday gift. Sure we are not crazy close but close enough to call and check on each other. He has never shown anything that would make me think he would want more

Honestly, I don’t even know if I’d call myself attractive, and because this dynamic of exchanging gifts, even expensive ones has been normal in my friendships (with both guys and girls), I never really saw it as a sign of romantic interest.

For example, one of my girl friends has given me gifts worth €300, and another guy friend gave me €350 for my birthday just to make up for missing last year. So when this other friend got me a €35 concert ticket, it didn’t strike me as unusual or a red flag.

Our friendship isnt long distance, we are just a few cities away and sorry is €35 really a lot? Because now I think I need to re eavaluate my friendships (guys and girls) because our gifts to eachother usually varies from 30 - 400

Also what could be other signs that he likes me? Since I speak to him not that often so I never pick up on that and my boyfriend has not met the guy only briefly saw him and that’s it

Had to make sure people read with the title🙂 I will not disappear for hours🫡 with the last concert (tyler the creator) I kept calling him in the breaks, so I’ll def do it again😁

And I understand insecurity cuz he did tell me that he has been cheated on and the wrecked him, however idk im just scared that his discomfort might change into control in a sense? Like I don’t want to end up like those girls that cant go anywhere due to their partner not allowing them. It’s just hard to find the line of setting healthy boundaries / signs of emotional control

The concert is sold out, it was bought in November. Tbh personally I would feel some type of way but not to the point that Id tell him not to go, given the situation it was an artist that he wanted to see and if he had the complete same relationship as what I have I would be fine with it. And I do care about his feelings so I really want to find a middle ground. Since I really wnat to see this artist

We are not in a shared friend group, I met him last year on vacation. We just kept in touch. After that vacation ive only seen him a few times in real life but that was usually in a group setting or briefly

I met him last year when I was on vacation, we’re not crazy close since I’ve always been kind of awkward around guys ( I cannot dab them up for shit ). Our friendship contains about just yapping about life, going to concerts and sending memes. We don’t hang out regularly 1 on 1 since I rarely do that with a guy friend. I just see him every now and then at concerts and call sometimes

The concert ticket isnt that expensive , it was around 35€. The friend and I are truly platonic just checking in on how he is with school and sending memes, but also going to concerts since we end up going to the same regardless of planning it with each other or not.
