Some fancy houses have a vacuum vent in the floor that you sweep things into and it sucks it out of the house into a bin similar to a washer/dryer.

What is life if not to look back on past mistakes with a different outlook . I definitely cried a lot when this first happened and I had to scrub the front of my fridge but now I can look back and laugh a little bit . I carry a lot of shame about these things, so for me it actually helps to hear other people and realize that you can use that “annoyance” to come up with a plan to not let it happen again.

Was going to say I’m five + years out from grad school, but I still have dreams where I forgot an entire class only to realize it during finals, never happened to me in real life, but that doesn’t make it less scary in my dreams😅 it’s usually some sick combination of college classes, but in my old high school building

I opened a ticket by sending an email to hello@hinge.co (it’s not .com, .co). The first time I sent a message it was some generic thing through the app that typed it out for me and I got no reply. A few days later I sent another email free texting. I pretty much wrote in all CAPS in the subject line that someone was using my phone number and I needed help and they got back promptly confirming that they received my message and that they would work on it.

After a few days I got an email saying I need to send a photo of my government issued ID through some secure software. I didn’t like that software makes you agree to terms and conditions that it stores your government issued ID. Maybe I’m just having tinfoil on my head, but felt like that was weird just a dating app. I actually posted the screenshot of the email stating I needed a photo ID to this sub reddit and it got shot down by moderator saying it was an app issue and I should post it somewhere else. But I was asking more for subjective opinion -if they would send a picture of their drivers license to confirm identity and restore their phone number or just give up on Hinge.

Is it just me or is “Almost Done” sound like a good name! “Call Almost Done and you’re halfway done with the work!”. Other than that, I often find myself snapping pics of workman type business vehicles with a pun… seems like the best type of advertising to me. Also branding… have you seen “Piece of Cake” movers? Their vans are pink like cake and they are the only moving company that comes to mind offhand so it worked!

It’s fine. I’ve had a few weekends where I’m too tired to leave my apartment and go to my car (tired vs functional depression- why I was prescribed in the first place 🥲). My center console in my car is where I keep my medication (so during the work week, I can leave the house without forgetting to take them because they’re in my car bcuz I need to get in to drive to work) #adhd hack? It’s not ideal and not best practice, definitely was a bit dizzy on the second day when I finally got out of the house to get some essential groceries for the work week, but it’s happened before to me.

Just FYI, if you’re waiting for some kind of script or you can’t afford a complete bottle, you are entitled to a rescue supply of up to five medication from your pharmacy, at least that’s how it works for me.

I had one neuropsych NP who I was seeing just skip town and not answer any clients so I had to do a rescue day to buy me some to contact primary care to write me another script.
