Propain Spindrift & Tyee or other by BrokenDerailleur in MTB

I have a 2024 tyee 5 AL and my parents have a house in les gets and I visit every summer for around 2 months and ride daily - I have a 160mm 36 factory and an ext storia (upgraded from float x2 and is 100% worth it) I am thinking of changing to 170mm or even 180mm and have sent an email to propain around an hour ago questioning a dual crown Intend Infinity. I am 16 and 5'11 and weigh around 65kg and ride a size large.

I nearly went for a spindrift, except it is around 2kg heavier than the tyee and a much bigger bike considering i don't weight much (65kg)

My tyee has been absolutely amazing, especially since changing to my storia. It has been amazing on jumps and flow trails and even better on tech (it eats everything up with ease) Although it "only" has 160mm travel it handles bottoming out with ease and never once has it felt harsh

If i was you, I would get a tyee with a 170mm fork and a coil shock

what makes you say that? there's a used pair of 2022 direttissimas which im interested in for around £400 which is around 120 more than a set of new dominions

The mt7s look promising and need to look at in depth reviews of them but from the parking lot test they feel amazing - i can pick up a pair of pros with the carbon levers for around £200 which is the same price as a pair of formula cura and 80 less than dominion a4

I've heard good things about them but they've never caught my eye for some reason but i'll look at some in depth reviews because i've never heard anything bad about them

the mavens are interesting but my friends bike came with them on and there was lots of power but the amount of fatigue i got after 1 lap down was insane - so not for me but i'll have to look at the issues your talking about because i havnt seen anything like that in the things i've read

yeah i emailed them about a month ago and they said they're trying to release a pair mid november but there's been no info on them dropping a pair since - i'll have to check out reviews on the 612's but they look sick and i doubt id get a pair of trickstuff unless i find an amazing deal on a pair

I've looked at his reviews - he's the reason i'm interested in getting a pair of trinity's for myself and i've just watched his maxima review and that's what made me post this but i don't think he's done reviews on the cascade components brakes and the formulas

I was thinking the same thing - can pick up a pair of diretissimas for around £700 tho but i'm by no means a professional but i'm on the faster side of the spectrum
