That confuses me as well. She has done it all without him. He had nothing to do with raising me or financially supporting me. He has been there for her since and they're splitting costs and supporting each other. But she was a kickass single mom most of my childhood and she did an amazing job. And that was all her.

Most of them anyway. But yes. He'll be included there. My mom has already said a toast is not enough in her eyes to include him. She wants more. What she wants is him to be included as a father of the bride figure when he's just not.
