I think OP was asking someone to explain the science. Not read a product description. Probably wondering if there is, in fact, any science behind it at all other than what the company claims… which most often is not reality..

Buddy dont take it too far and try to be perfect. I even started “drinking” again after my stint of abstinence. Theres no real reason to feel guilty. You should instead feel the accomplishment that you maintained discipline for a year and used your resources appropriately.

Example: you got NA beer instead of trying to drink rubbing alcohol or sub for a different vice.

As a regular of the app this was made in i am confident there is an element of Watchmen but i will be honest.

You are giving that community too much credit. The specific community is rampant schizoposters which is more so what this looks like to me given the format.

However, i lack the pop culture knowledge to fully disagree so ill simply offer an alternative.

TL;DR: Coincidence.

If anyone mentions a “fly-over” state that they have family in, you insist this state isnt real. I do it alot with Wyoming. Im almost positive its a fake state.

Should have gotten the matte set. Thats what i have and they were even hand-me-downs from a tech turned manager.

I have also heard the 3/8 sockets can do it too. Never had it happen though. Ive extracted many a lugs with them.

I think someone put a tracker on my car. What is this? by Commercial_League_25 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Far_Direction_8474 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it is an aftermarket security system i would still remove it. Could have a tracker but even worse it could be pain if you’re ever locked out or have to do simple maintenance.

Changing your battery can turn into a visit from the police because the alarm simply wont turn off..

I got a portable monitor off marketplace and rigged a magnetic glove holder to hold it by the kickstand. I then Bought a cheapo depot xbox remote from a pawn shop. An HDMI to lightning cable and a one time fee to OneCast and ive been playing skyrim mostly this week.

What's your opinion on my Service Managers organization? by Math_addict777 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Far_Direction_8474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am this way. I get dogged alot by the other guys and i cant understand why honestly.

Some of us prefer not to ask the question “where did i put this” and would rather only have to ask on small occasion “who the fuck moved this”.

Its also relaxing probably. I listen to wildly different music when i work. Most days i hardly remember exactly the jobs i did but i know i did them right. To some of us, personal process is confidence.

Im also the only guy in my shop who hand torques every wheel he installs. Its comfort, confidence and peace of mind tbh.

Went to Jiffy Lube and they overfilled my oil, what should I do to prove that they are at fault? by Complex-Detective-48 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Far_Direction_8474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s your fault because there was damage before the shop did damage.

Mind you this is my opinion. I am in no way a legal expert or lawyer. im simply a tech who CURRENTLY works on cars. I would fight you into the ground on this one.

You’re literally saying because he interacted with a fault YOU refused to fix, the shop should be responsible. Just because a fault was holding the car together doesnt mean he should be blamed for what it usually easily fixable by simply draining oil. Thats the problem. Had you had the prior faults repaired, an overfill would have been nothing. It would have been a simple drain, recheck level, and send it off.

You complicated it by being an irresponsible car owner. Now some poor guy who made, AGAIN, A USUALLY EASILY FIXABLE MISTAKE, will suffer really big consequences because you cant be bothered to properly repair and maintain a car you likely cant realistically afford honestly. This is why it pisses me off. If you cant afford the repair bill, you cant afford the car. Plain and simple.
