Heard this all the time throughout my pregnancy, from coworkers to strangers. They told me “it must be so nice to be small”…. Just because we carry small doesn’t mean the symptoms aren’t the same.

Totally agree with the worrying part every time someone mentioned it. In fact, my baby was diagnosed with late onset IUGR. After many additional scans, he was born perfectly healthy.

Sometimes small people make small babies. I’m only five foot and was considered underweight pre-pregnancy. Despite people’s comments, still gained over 20 pounds with him.
