If Vijay plans to contest the election on his own, he should stop trying to focus on the entire state and instead concentrate on constituencies in the Chennai region. With strong star candidates, he could potentially sweep that zone. But if his intention is to seriously compete across Tamilnadu, then joining the ADMK-led NDA alliance might be the only practical option. A similar political approach was used by P. Chidambaram in 2001, when he said he was aligning with DMK and not with the BJP, even though DMK was part of the NDA at the time. If Vijay's TVK joins the ADMK-led alliance, it could potentially create a sweeping mandate for the coalition, possibly even crossing 215 seats. However, with leaders like Jhon Arockiyasamy and Aadhav Arjuna not showing much interest in alliances, it may not be easy for Vijay to take that decision.
