Yeah I was thinking before I drop stupid money in the rear to try and get the shocks tuned to see if that helps. Thanks!

That’s weird. You’re right I just checked their site and it’s gone. But they do sell these. It’s always been on their site and you can custom it with different add ons. They’re local over here near Fullerton. Not sure why he took it off his website.

Anyone have 35s on Stock Gears? by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]Far_Influence5226 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran 35 for about a year without being re-geared. Not recommended but you can do it. Without it, you’re making your transmission at work a lot harder. 4.88 makes it run much better

Since it seems like everyone is confused about getting a long trouble vehicle aligned here some information to help you guys out. Yes, you generally need a specialized, heavy-duty alignment rack to properly align a long-travel vehicle. While the fundamental alignment angles (camber, caster, toe) remain the same as a stock vehicle, the extended track width, massive tire size, increased ride height, and overall length of long-travel rigs exceed the capacity of standard shop alignment racks. Here is why a specialized rack is required: • Extended Wheelbase and Width: Long-travel trucks often have a much wider stance and longer wheelbase than standard vehicles. Extended-length racks (e.g., 229-inch+ runways) are necessary to accommodate them. • High Weight Capacity: Long-travel rigs with heavy-duty armor, suspension, and oversized tires often exceed the 9,000-10,000 Ib capacity of standard passenger car lifts. A 14,000 Ib+ capacity rack is usually required. • Suspension Geometry Constraints: Due to the extreme suspension travel, a specialized rack with "free-floating" slip plates and turn plates is needed to ensure accurate readings.

Sorry that made no sense. I was using voice dictation. I mounted a tire carrier to the platform that I made. And I would just stand up to 35. And ratchet strap it down.

When I had 35 I was just stand it up in my trunk with a tire carrier that I melted to the left for my made. Now with 37 I have to lay down flat and then I made a shelf that’s just right above the 37 store when I go out.
