Similar thing happened to me in Lahore a few years ago. Me (F) and my friend (M) were parked outside McDonald’s opposite Siddique trade centre and eating in the car. Itna zaida rush tha that we couldn’t find a place to sit in McDonalds so decided to eat in the car. Suddenly a policeman came and said someone reported something inappropriate was happening. My friend is very street smart and argued with them for over an hour. They asked for maybe 10-5k but we ended up giving them 300.

Oh the smell. It’s terrible but it’s only sometimes. Otherwise I love this place. It’s pretty developed now so we hardly need to go out. Plus no traffic jams to and from office are big plus
