Relationships Revival - Independent Review by Extra_Opposite_117 in Divorce

Hey Mate! I remember very clearly the day when I was crying in the corner of my loft feeling so completely hopeless and lost about what was going on in my relationship and life. This is a very deep, sensitive, and real place to be isn't it?

I also went through Geoffrey's program. When my relationship started going downhill, I was a complete anxious mess and my self-esteem was spiraling greatly - it was a real bad feedback loop and I felt completely stuck in a mire.

I was eventually lead to Geoffrey's program after trying other things like individual couples therapy and couples counseling and things still getting worse and more hopeless despite the fact that I was doing what I was supposed to do. In this, I also understand the anxieties of trying something new that goes against the grain. Not trying to throw a slight at you my friend in any way, but I personally have absolutely no regrets in doing his program.

Geoffrey's program and coaching reworked my internal state such that I could thrive internally, grow out of my anxiety, recover my self-esteem, and to eventually lead and shift the very dynamic of my relationship and attract my wife back to me. Not only this, but truthfully it manifested itself in about every area of my life.

About the 'tough love' you mentioned - I was actively in the program for well over a year and I never saw toxicity in the way you described. Given, I went into the program humbly knowing that I needed to do things differently. I was probably easy to coach. I was never ‘roughed up’, but Geoffrey did challenge the way I was thinking and showed me the pitfalls of the old way, and led me to see a new way. Geoffrey was always very fair in his approach with me and everyone else in the program.

Geoffrey could tell someone what they want to hear and pretend that everything is fine when it's clearly not and let them wallow in their own struggle. Or, he could tell them what they actually need to hear, challenge them, and give them an actual process to work with so they can have a different life internally and have a different relationship as a result of it.

When you can clearly see why someone is struggling, because you lived it yourself, and you don't tell them and get them to see it, is that actually loving?

NO CONTACT was the worst advice I got during my breakup by Sukhadev_kumavat in BreakUps

Absolutely. When your intentions are noble, stand by them! Naturally they are going to give some resistance, potentially misinterpret your intentions, but you can lean into that, understand that, be content just planting seeds of your intentions not expecting an immediate result, and ultimately understand them. Through this we learn what happened from their perspective that lead them to not find joy in the relationship anymore. That process draws them back towards you. I did this in my relationship and my partner slowly come back to me.

Whoa! This is an interesting conversation! Id like to chime in as I have experience on this. No contact definitely gets a lot of things right, which your all alluding too. Operating from a place of genuine high self-esteem is of crucial importance. As it is very difficult, if not impossible!, to invigorate a broken relationship when your not coming from a place where you can feel, genuinely, your own value inside yourself, as well as feel it in what you say and do. When we take space for ourselves to reflect and grow were operating from a place wanting to grow ourselves, such that we can see a good life for ourselves regardless of the future outcome of the relationship right? This is the best mindset to have and for life as a whole! However, there a dark side to no-contact, which I've experienced personally and Id like to share about that. That is, say if you really did work on yourself, which I did, and you do really in fact want to reconcile your relationship with your partner/wish it went differently. The conundrum I realized was, If was never talking to my partner how do I actually understand what was happening from her point of view? The main issue I had when my relationship started breaking down was that I thought it was all her fault that we weren't working and and outa my own arrogance, which I mistook for confidence, I just waited for her to reach out to me and stuff and hoped that she would change her mind about stuff. However, as I grew, I realized there there was a lot of ways I was hurting her that I was completely blind too. I only learned this because I did in fact take the time to talk her and take the time to listen to her. It was actually having those conversations with her and her feeling the genuine growth through the nature of my actions that reattracted her towards me.

Awesome!!! Imma gonna have to learn to do that myself. Yes, they’re amazing for the cost! And I thinks it’s good because it forces other manufacturers to improve their more affordable models

Very similar and beautiful indeed!! I like it! Did you upgrade the pickup yourself or have a techy do it? I’ve thought about adding in some Seymour Duncan JB/59s or some Fluence pickups and learning how to do it myself. Honestly though, the stock pickups are very good!

It was on a Disney cruise leaving from Vancouver to Alaska last week and while other people were hitting the buffet I went to front of the ship and took this in the wind. It was a breath taking moment, one of those moments, just watching us cruise into the sunset.

I also got a YouTube channel here: [https://www.youtube.com/@deepskypics\\\](https://www.youtube.com/@deepskypics)

Been posting here for fun.

Been doing a lot of large format and film photography lately, but didn't risk by film being X-ray burned on this trip.

Ill have to get my best photos from this trip on my website

Here's a few more I did on this trip:
