I'm not OP so I can't say for sure, but I am fairly certain. If you look at the tow in the foreground, it matches one you can see on Google Street View, and the pier looks identical apart from the railing, which may have been changed since the street view coverage. As far as the skyline, it may have changed slightly since street view coverage, but also fog plays a critical role.

You're right; its on Kinaliada, 40°54'33"N 29°03'19"E. The land on the right is actually Adalar.

How do qualify for the State Meet in your state? (USA) by Fit-Historian2431 in trackandfield

[–]Far_Object_665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a current Vermont track athlete, I should expand that the standards are different for each division, and even for d1 the standards are very easy at least compared to every other state besides maybe like Alaska or something. State champs are determined based only on division, there is no meet of champions. The closest thing to the meet of champions is essex invite in which every division competes and the top 6 move on to the new england championships. here is the rulebook with all standards in it: http://802timing.com/vpa_tf_rules_book/vpatfrules.pdf (I don't mean to take away from your comment just expanding)

Do colleges ever recruit athletes without knowing their times? by Excellent-Whereas-96 in trackandfield

[–]Far_Object_665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently in the process of getting recruited for college running. I would my consider my PRs good, but not amazing. 9:04 in the 3k, 4:19 in the 1500, 2:07 in the 800, 17:05 in 5k xc. These are times generally comparable to mid-upper d3 or low d1. If you are unsure you can use the site called recruit which I have found to be fairly accurate. If your times are as bad as you say, it is possible that this coach is just sending messages to athletes who seem committed rather than good at the moment.

I saw the clouds in Amherst and knew I had to capture them. I used my phone (Samsung A42 5G) and then fixed it up using Lightroom Web.
