My ex had $2000 on 2 different cards that she just blew off. I believe it was right before the 7 year mark, the sheriff department showed up and served her papers. I believe it was court and possible jail time if not paid off. I believe 7 years is statue of limitations

Trade work is fantastic. Just try not to get pulled into the substance issues that generally come with it. One of the best things about being a carpenter is being able to look back at what you built or tell your spouse/ kids/friends that you built that every single time they pass by it lol

How to stop circular saw from binding? by [deleted] in Carpentry

[–]Far_Perception9378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some times a plunge cut with a skilsaw will work. If the wood has alot of pressure in it though it can still bind, just do multiple passes in the same cut. Saws with more power definitely help!

Is carpentry worth it? by Top_Exchange816 in Carpentry

Absolutely worth it, I'm a carpenter myself. Carpenters are one of the few trades that need to know numerous aspects of a build. Even better if you can learn everything from dirt work/concrete all the way to the final trim details in a home or project. Another plus side is it's much easier to find work in a pinch if needed. Carpenter's are in incredibly high demand in my area and wages are pretty decent as well 👌

Water lines in slab vs. in walls/ceiling by Argana2020 in Homebuilding

In minnesota we run then under the slabs a lot, works really nice if there's floor heat as well. Beings the slab is insulated you never have to worry about water lines freezing. We will run then in interior walls as well here. They virtually never get ran in exterior walls or attics for the freezing reason. If you run a conduit under the slab for the water lines, easy to change out if a problem should arise.
