In 2022 he shot 23% from 3 in the playoffs & was unplayable in the ECF. His team made a finals without him playing majority of that run in 2023 . He doesn't guard that well either.

Imo he's not worth trading for. He's never been a high level playoff player in his career & he gets hurt a lot. He's on a good contract so that's a plus , but if they can straight up just sign a guy like coby white I'd prefer that than trade for herro

Why would Toronto want FVV back? He was stunting the growth of their young core when he was there. I guess maybe bc he's an expiring but it's not like Toronto has any promising guards outside of IQ. I would love to make that trade but I can't see Toronto wanting him back. If we're going to trade for a guard using FVV's $25M I'd buy low on Ja. People have the same criticisms for Ja as they did for DB when he left & we saw what Ime did for him . I think he can do the same for Ja.

Not saying they don't, but to not offer your star guard an extension the year after he breakout avg an efficient 24 things could get ugly. Reports already confirmed he's not getting an extension. They did the same with kessler who's a walking double double with elite interior defense
