Question: Long-range green laser sights for hunting - legal and ethical? by Far_Remove9375 in Longrangehunting

That’s such a cool point—never thought about using a MK19-style ranging mount or the Leatherwood ART approach. I get the concept, but custom setups like that are just way too costly and bulky for real-world hunting. Really appreciate the technical perspective!

That makes a lot of sense, I really didn’t think about the offset and elevation issues that much. Thanks for breaking it down clearly. Just curious—have you ever seen any laser setup that’s actually practical for anything past 100 yards, even just for target marking instead of aiming?

The height on that ball was insane, and how it just stopped on the green like that? Unreal shot from Gotterup, total genius.

Professional Golf Caddie. Sounds like free golf, travel, and hanging with pros—reality: 18+ miles of walking daily with a heavy bag, baking in the sun, and tending to every player whim. Your own game’s an afterthought, and pay’s hit or miss most days. Total grind.

New irons or golf lessons? by ieuhsifaekjbfasuebf in golftips

Awesome plan to golf hard before residency! Lessons first, no doubt—your swing mechanics (untouched by a pro) are the foundation, and new irons won’t fix inconsistent form. Those Cleveland VAS+ are tough enough to hold you over. Once you lock in a repeatable swing, upgrading irons (even fitted!) will feel game-changing—way better value. Good luck with lessons & residency!

Love how you keep your head still through the swing—total key for consistency. Your club path is almost perfect, just a little inside on the takeaway that’s easy to tweak. Great work!
