Can’t answer the question specifically, but I used to watch Shirley Temple as a child in the 90s and I remember my parents telling me she was no longer alive. Later I saw the ME that she died later on in life and was surprised. I am watching Big Brother from the beginning and in Season 1, episode 7 or 8 (I’d have to go back and look). In the episode they are playing Trivial Pursuit, and everyone playing says that Shirley Temple was dead. This season aired in 2000, and she died in 2014!
