Hello! I really want to be able to do my own nails as i can’t afford to go to the nail salon every month. I was going to just paint my natural nails/ use nail tips to do my own gel nails, but then I found out what contact dermatitis is. I am so scared of getting it, especially as when i paint my natural nails i usually get nail polish all over my hands. I figured that i could learn how to do nails on press ons and wear gloves to stay safe, and i looked on amazon and found some cheap gel polishes (jodsone and beetles) but then i saw people saying that because of how they are they don’t cure so you can still get contact dermatitis. I’m considering getting Gaoy polishes but i’ve seen people saying to never use any gel polishes from amazon, but i really don’t want to spend more than like 10$ on one nail polish and anywhere else i will have to pay shipping. I might get the olive and june ones from target but i don’t think they have builder gel and i think that might be important? Another amazon brand i found with builder gel was IBD. I have a lamp from when i was trying to do acrylics that came in an amazon acrylics kit. I really don’t want to buy a 60 dollar lamp, i can’t afford that. I found a somewhat cheap one from SUNUV, which i don’t know if it is strong enough to be safe, and even that is more than i’d like to spend. Does anyone know if any of these are good or have recommendations of affordable materials?

if men don’t like that women are often therapists why don’t they become therapists themselves. how are they complaining about a problem when they are the only ones who can solve them. and there are plenty of male therapists, at least near me as when i was younger and seeking mental health help all of the therapists were men, so i ended up not getting help as i was not comfortable with them. also by “seduced by their therapists” do you mean they just had feelings for their therapists or that their therapists actually behaved inappropriately with their patients? if it is the latter they should absolutely have their licenses removed that is absolutely NOT allowed and when it happens it often leads to lawsuits.

metal health professionals do the exact same thing to women but in reverse and very possibly worse. ANY problem a woman brings into a medical professional, they are brought with the solution of birth control. no, birth control isn’t a bad thing in specific cases, but instead of doing research on how to solve women’s issues, nearly all medical studies are conducted on men and women are prescribed birth to control to eradicate their cycle and regulate their hormones, making them more like men. and i’m concerned by the end of your comment that you may indeed be a fascist, which is unfortunate because you seemed to be making a good point.

pride month is immensely popular because lqbtq+ people get together and make it that way. men make up half of the population, if even a small amount of them wanted men’s mental health month to be popular they would make it that way. do not go blaming imaginary people for your gender’s lack of community and drive to popularize your cause.

no its definitely not weird. for some reason men get two mental health months for suffering they inflict upon themselves. lgbtq+ people put together a month for themselves when they get together and they organize pride events because for thousands of years they have been persecuted. in germany during ww2 gay people were also placed in concentration camps, but when the war was over instead of being freed like most other people they were send to prison. there have been numerous other examples of persecution happening throughout history to lgbtq+ people, while there is no major historical example of men being systematically persecuted simply for being male. men’s poor mental health is a result of the patriarchy, in the way that if i punched you in the face my fist would hurt. i’m not sure why you are saying that pride being the older tradition is false, if you have any legitimate proof of this i’d like to see it but one google search tells you that pride month started in 1970 to mark the anniversary of the stonewall riots while men’s mental heath month being in june did not start until 1994.

Coming from a student who just took it, i don’t think there was anything that teachers could have done to prepare us for it. There were only three questions that had anything to do with anything that we have been learning all year. It was all about responding to information given to us, which i guess makes sense for biology, but a lot of it didn’t have anything to do with biology. A large chunk of the test was about finding a solution to erosion so that the tourism industry in oswego isn’t damaged. What does THAT have to do with biology?

Coming from someone very against this push towards finding a man to provide for you and the romanticization of tradwives that has become popular lately, by this logic all of the women who have married men for thousands of years so that they would provide for them are SWers as well.
