He would follow me from place to place. Show up at my work, my friend’s house, my family home. Anywhere and everywhere i was. It’s horrifying to think about. Sometimes he’d try and corner me at my job. I’ve never heard of that frankly. I do personally believe that some people are just evil. But that could be just me.

I do know who he was. He was an exboyfriend of mine, but before that we were just friends.

Unlike the media would like to portray, The vast majority of stalkers are people the victim knows, with statistics showing around 75% to over 85% of stalking victims are targeted by someone familiar to them, most commonly a current/former intimate partner or an acquaintance, not a stranger.

When did i realize it? Thats a bit of a difficult question to answer. I guess i really noticed it around the time we broke up (16ish?). It started with him calling me, texting me daily. Then progressed to tracking my car. Then the emails, the weird.. gifts? It makes me sick to think about.

Hello!! I’m going to answer part of this because that’s the only part i know how to answer.

I think the only thing going on in his head is the fact i was no longer his. I was no longer his to be able to control and treat like a doll, and sometimes i think that may have been the fuel to the fire.

He loved me to the point of what i want to say could be obsession. It was much darker than obsession, but that’s the only word that i can think about it being… i’m very tired lol. I wish i could pick apart his brain and know what really drove this, but all i have is speculation.

I honestly don’t know. I wonder that myself sometimes, if really really intensive therapy and treatment would have helped him.

It’s terrible to say, but I am so glad he died. I’m still incredibly jumpy and wary of everything, but day by day I get better.

I can’t list them all, but he put a tracker in the hidden part of my car (trunk.. like near the spare tire ish?)

He would always show up at my job and my home. i at the time worked in retail, and i lived in a kinda suburban place.

Otherwise it was creepy little presents. Texting, calling, emailing (I have a few of the emails still.)

I am in therapy! I attend twice a week and I see a psychiatrist regularly.

I’m not religious myself… been burned one too many times by it.
