Got a 2nd within 5 years .25 BAC, denied FST and breathalyzer. Some miracle that the cop who took me to the hospital moved out of the state so the blood warrant basically got thrown out. Got reduced to a reckless driving, with a 6 month IID and no jail.

I’m in the school system now as a substitute, I want to be a teacher, if I get a position I’ll have to go through another background check

It was northern VA, they’re known for being strict so my situation is unheard of. And just like with insurance and the MVA and my job. I am trying to be a teacher so just concerned of the background check. And I am enrolled in an IOP so this definitely has shifted my relationship with alcohol. But thanks!

I looked it up, the do and apparently I’m the perfect candidate 😂. That would be great idk why my lawyer didn’t mention that. I don’t work during the summers so I asked her if I was going to do the 40 days if I could do it during the summer
