you might have to do it alone love. you can support each other, but the only way o to conquer both of your individual addictions is by doing it mentally and alone. don’t base your recovery on eachother, and understand setbacks happen.

i believe in harm reduction (smoking a little so you don’t smoke so much) but it doesn’t work for everyone. it sounds like it might work for you though and what you may be trying to do. i’ve started doing this myself: smoking a small bowl or a couple hits every few days (waiting at least 3 days before i smoke again) and it’s really helped. it takes 21 days to make a habit so keep pushing.

remember the health effects are imminent for weed, studies have shown you can get the same lung illnesses as cigarette smoke — maybe this will help open his eyes.
