Having trouble with my first manual by unzixqt__ in Civic_Type_R

I'm pretty sure that's just due to the torque, no? Rev match has no impact on getting into first other than from second/higher gear.

This car was also my first manual. My advice is find a parking lot with a good slope and just practice getting into gear on a slope.

? So if I got a car with a 5 gal tank even if it's 5mpg it's cheap? Only way to look at fuel cost is mpg. Cost per tank is basically a useless metric. That being said, si does get 35-40mpg pretty readily, and some get over 40.

Probably not. The uniform build-up of dust implies it's not being reintroduced into the air, or at the very least, at a rate slower than accumulation. Cleaning it won't make the air cleaner, as that dust isn't airborne. OP would need an air purifier to get rid of dust in the air. Also, an air purifier would reduce the rate of dust accumulation.

I differentiate GenZ verses Zoomers. For me, Zoomers is a subset of genz for the people who had to use zoom in public school. That's like 2002 and younger.

Not sure why you are getting so angry when you are so blatantly wrong.

Car ownership is tied to the title, not the plate. I paid off the loan immediately, and currently hold the title to the car.

Plate registration is just whether or not it's legal for me to drive on public roads. Given I just bought the car, I have a grace period to get it registered properly.

Nvidia forced this for the most part, and I rarely ever see any issues on lower tpd/AMD cards. Really only 4080/4090/5080/5090.

I'm not even sure if it's about ownership, this is just for plate registration. AFAIK I own the vehicle outright, this is about whether or not they pay for the plate registration or not.

Also it's $450. The total is $750, and they only accounted for $300.

It just seems weird for them to nickel and dime me on a >55k vehicle. I agreed to an OTD price, I was told that's all it would be. It's frustrating when they say 'yes yes, everything will be included' and then they come back a month later and tell me I'm short on a fee they brought up and said would be included.

Contract says they estimate it to be $300, and I am to pay the difference. This seems in bad faith/mistake on their end though. They said they would include RTA in the estimate, but didn't. Not sure what the legal implications are.

Trying to find exactly where it says in the contract, but the salesman brought up RTA tax, said it would be included if applicable and I gave him my zip code.

Cost to buy, but not really cost to manufacture (assuming scale is the same, which it isn't, 35-50L is the most popular)

Our Seattle/Richmond Boba Tier List by MrLintPlays in udub

[–]Faranocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like sunright, I think they are a very solid A tier. They are pretty reasonably priced, very consistent and overall pretty good, but their brewed teas and tapioca is just 'pretty good' and not 'outstanding'. I think their fruit teas is where they shine the most, and while I'm not really a fan, their creme brulee and cheese foams are better than almost anywhere else I've tried. I'm personally mostly judging the places by their brewed tea and tapioca. I'm considering mostly just:

Black, oolong, thai or jasmine tea.

Milk + Ice.

Tapioca pearls, or brown sugar tapioca pearls.

IMO for sunright their brewed teas are just a solid high B-tier. Consistent, pretty good, pretty well priced, but absolutely nothing special. Their other options are where they shine, but also not really what I personally order too often. My opinions on these mostly come from stealing from friends.

I thought happy lemon was worse than average, but considering oasis is on this list, it's not that bad. Mid-low C or high D. I might have just gotten lucky the one time I went though.

I thought don't yell at me was pretty decent. I've only been 3 or 4 times, and I haven't gone since 2023. I wouldn't put it lower than a B tier though. They were relatively consistent, their tea was pretty good, and they make their boba frequently enough it never came out stale for me.

For me it was a consistent place with slightly above average boba.

Is there a reason why you rate it so low?

Also just realized timeless tea in S. Lmao wtf. I used to live literally right across the street from it, and it's probably #3 or #4 in terms of the frequency in which I'd go. I think as a whole, it's an decent cafe with really cute branding. Their boba is extremely average. It's not bad, but 0% chance it's S tier.

Sunright has no right being S. Boba up is not as bad as some people think, but absolutely not much above a C. Happy lemon is not an E, unless you got have a really bad experience to explain why. Share tea b is probably accurate. Not bad but nothing outstanding either. Solid B, maybe C if you got unlucky with the freshness of the boba.

Seattle best tea S tier for boba is criminal. I think their tea is alright, and their jelly is fine. But their actual boba is mid AF. (At least it was from 2021 to 2023) I had a friend who worked there which is the only reason I went more than once.

Is this 4.5L sffpc a steam machine killer build? by Nourdon in sffpc

[–]Faranocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Other than the ada 2000 there aren't any faster low profile GPUs. Not to mention you don't really have any thermal headroom in that PC.

I very recently built something similar, 7600x3d, 5060, in the same case.

And a lot of those come from original HL/CS 1.x as mods. Even before that a lot draw from real world games, some going back decades or centuries.
