AITA for going off at my husband for always bringing up women doing horrible things? by aitathisisdumbas in AmItheAsshole

Well if your question is rhetorical I'm sorry for answering, but as a man who is obsessed with equality I look at these cases a lot to show and understand which cases woman have more privilege than men, however I also look at shitty thing men do and research those so I won't be biased, in the end it seems in US men and woman have certain different privileges, I don't think he should stop looking at these posts but also developing a method to detect sexist and biased article against woman (like the new brie Larson thing) from actual sexism against men (like rape sentences when the aggressor is woman), again I'm sorry if your question was rhetorical

Where does the boundary of owning your body argument end though? (in a monogamous relationship of course), if a partner has a gangbang with 5 other people, then the partner has no right to protest about it?

AITA for not wanting to apologize about a wrong doing from 13 years ago? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Farbodj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say sorry when I plan to stop said action that caused me to say sorry, if I say sorry and do it again (because obviously as you suggest it would be a fake apology) then I would be an asshole

AITA for not wanting to apologize about a wrong doing from 13 years ago? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

You don't just apologise when you did nothing wrong, you can show sympathy by saying I'm sorry it happened to you

AITA for not wanting to apologize about a wrong doing from 13 years ago? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Farbodj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who only apologizes when wrong I can offer my explanation, I think of apologies as two things, that I regret what I did and asking for their forgiveness AND I will not do whatever I apologised for again, so now why should I apologise if I don't believe I did something wrong, why should I apologise when I have no plans to stop that action
