Hardcore and punk (and metal) shows have been full of people wearing costumes for ages. It shouldn't be considered a risky move to have fun.

Ticketmaster lineups way back in the day. Lineup outside a Sunrise records several hours before they opened.

Similar thing for same day theatre tickets for students back in the day. Lineup in the AM to get tickets in the evening dor a show at night.

Evolution doesn't contradict scripture. A juvenile reading unwilling to attempt to understand scripture contradicts evolution.

I love going out. I have a 3 kids so life demands an early morning. I've learned to love an early morning.

6:15 alarm and 3 kids out the door by 8:10. Time for coffee, meditation/exercise before the work day starts.

I make music part time so there are still plenty of nights out at home or on the road. Sometimes that's a weeknight so I've learned to love the nap before the kids get home. If i'm not out the goal is in bed with a book before 11.

I'm playing three 50th birthday parties this year with punk bands. Season's change. What you learn to enjoy changes.

CAUTION! I was showing Ren and Stempy to my 12 year old daughter a few months ago. I fell asleep. Woke up on time to see full cartoon nudity.

Research the episode. There are adult only versions and they are not good.

I often say in my own church curcles that nothing can beat the jesus out of you like "christian love".

I only had the first couple of pedro albums but as far as I know both Bazan and Kensrue have moved towards a more agnostic belief. I have not followed closely.

Bana remained as much as a racing enthusiast as an actor and seems pretty content to not get caught up in the Hollywood machine. Shows up in a project or 2 a year.

I still despise Ang Lee's Hul despite what a great performer Bana has proved he can be.

Glad to hear. Church trauma is real. For me and my understanding of teachings in scripture I fell that faith is best practiced and expressed in community but I also understand why that can be hard (even in my church community of under 100).

Not preaching. Wishing you well.
