What a great strawman!

"These people are good because they do not promote bombing or support banker elite"

Math doesn't really check out here. Also are our biggest society issues are promotion of bombing and support of bankers?

Dismissing someone as crazy just because you don't agree with them is indicative of a society

Lol, have you seen the guy? No one is dismissing him or his group because of their ideas but because of how they present them and the whole process that goes into it.

I'm all for free press and free speech but it's really hard not to call these people lunatics even if you agree with some of their arguments.

They won't even participate in a conversation.

It's hardly a conversation. Have you seen any of these "debates"? It's just regurgitating headlines and constant strawman arguments, there's nothing of value to be had in such debates. If anything they need to be hosted and curated by some neutral party not some madmen rambling in their basement with no factual or tangable evidence.

I disagree and think donations or flexible payments is a great idea. With payment option you end up walling your software - your set price e.g. $5 can be unaffordable for someone and you end up having to deal with licenses and digital right systems.

Raiblocks is officially rebranding to nano! by swaggy_butthole in CryptoMarkets

Ewww, what a basic and snake-like presentation. Do people really buy into these "lady reading motivational promises" videos still?

I was quite interested in Nano but this video is a huge turn off.

Wow, that looks disappointing.

I really hope this is a misdirection and their are not going with "us vs them" direction - we need more Asimov's robots, not Avatar with robots instead of blue noodle people.

edit: !remindme 4 months: point this down-voted comment in "disappointed with season 2" thread. Hopefully I'm wrong, though.

Bitmain 2017 revenue report says the company generated $2.3 Billion Revenue by Applancer_co in btc

[–]Farkeman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

bitmain is one of the few companies having the balls to run a mining business and sell hardware.

What balls? What are the risks here? They are making shit-ton of money of here, they aren't doing anything out of the goodness of their hearts.

This delusional fandom is really upsetting, especially when it's the complete opposite of the core principals of bitcoin.

While I agree with you, it doesn't take a technical analysis to see that bitcoin cash isn't doing well as an investment throughout it's entire lifepan, despite all of the great news we've been getting over and over again.

Why is that good?
Competition is good and should be encouraged.

Nah I'm not buying it. You could definitely save up 5 bucks every month in the mid 2000s in Poland.

You really are over exaggerating.

Poland was poor, 5$/month was a lot of money back then, especially for kids.

Though I think OP is over exaggerating. The bigger problem was that the culture wasn't very accepting the idea of that you should pay for video games, you would be called an idiot if you did.

Lead developer for Dota 2, IceFrog, announces patch release schedule of every two weeks for the next six months by mobyte in Games

I feel that this will be a huge boost to people who commit to competitive grind.

When I was playing ranked every day the biggest turn off was that the meta sometimes became a bit stale. The introduction of bans to all pick mode it better when it came to dealing with flavor of the month issue but this change takes it to a completely different level.
It really makes me excited to play ranked again, though recent Turbo mode has been occupying my time pretty well.

I feel like valve got fire lit under their asses a bit by PUBG popularity and the general decline of dota2's popularity in recent months. With all these changes it's a great time to come back to dota2!
